Nirvana lives up to its name. Golf heaven on earth. Many signature holes with views of Indian Ocean. The sea mist thrown up by crashing surf coupled with rays from the setting sun gives the seaside holes a surreal atmosphere. Hole 7 is a special treat with the iconic Tanah Lot temple in view but a challenge for the less competent to drive a demanding tee shot that must carry about 120 m over a rocky beach below. Hole 2 fairway has slopes with terraces planted with real padi serving as a hazard. With their conical rattan-woven hats, the caddies' get-up actually references a padi farmer. The elevated green on Hole 9 opens up to a cliff looking out on rolling waves. Fairway and green conditions are excellent. Sadly Nirvana golf course and the adjoining Pan Pacific hotel will be flattened to build Trump's 6 star resort and golf course. Go play Nirvana before it closes on 31 July 2017!

Excellent golf course! Great service - caddies are very well trained and knowledgeable. So sad to hear that it will be shut down for a 3 year makeover come Ang 2017 - there's nothing wrong with it as it stands now!

Absolutely stunning location. The signature holes are a golfer's dream. Unfortunately the prices charged for a round of golf are not realistic and the (May 2016) condition of the greens was poor.
If the greens improve and the prices are fairer it is well worth a visit.
Club house facilities are excellent and the food in the restaurant is good.

Off the road before Tanah Lot pass the hotel and arrive at the grand drop off area. Parking opposite if you came by car. A most accomplished course and club house with well stocked pro shop. Golf in Bali is expensive and seldom are the courses full. But stunning views and golfing challenges await. First hole over a river and uphill tells one of things to come. Enjoy! Don't forget to tip the friendly caddies.

This is an amazing golf course and I love to play here early in the morning when it is most beautiful
