Everything what you need in one place. Fresh fishes, and sea food. If you are not big fan of the sea food, you can also eat very good and tasty Indonesian dishes, and after main course, if you feel like eating desert it's possibility to. Only minus a smell from many barbecues around, but this is a magic of this place. Sea food is cheaper than in many restaurants on the harbor, place with soul, very locally. M bee m see

Really good night market where you get local food everywhere. Sate, grilled seafood, mixed stuff like eggplants, mushrooms, pumpkin, beans and so much more. Come here and enjoy! Take the spicy sauce 🌶️😋 and try the sweets afterwards 😉

Outstanding fresh food, you can order from a few stalls, I ate here two nights in a row from different places and didn't get sick, take cash, you can pick from saute and the best is the fresh seafood, saute is ok priced, seafood is not the cheapest but it's still fresh and amazing, if you want to experience what most markets are like in Indonesia then this gives you a chance to explore that experience. Very tourist friendly.

Amazing energy. Without a doubt some of the best seafood I’ve had anywhere in the world. Try the giant prawns, squid and local mahi fish. SO GOOD! And cheap too!

If you are looking for some good and cheap indonesian food and local experience, this is it.
Lots of options to choose from. Seafood, meat, and vegetable bbq available too.

I am a vegetarian and there were quite a bit options available for me. I picked 2 different vegetable dishes with plain rice and came out to be only 20,000 rupiahs.

It was a cool experience, a bit pricy. We ended up walking down the street to buy a couple beers for half the price they wanted. We got barracuda which came with a salad and a bowl of rice. It took them about 1/2 an hour to cook the fish so it was a bit of a wait. All in all it was good but I probably wouldn’t go again. I’d try it at least once!

It's a nice market. But I don't think the food is cheaper here then a restaurant. It's a different vibe though and the sambal sauce is decently hot enuf not hot for me. lol.

You MUST visit the local night markets at least once on your Gili T stay.

We’ve found the guys behind the Money Changer just off the main road have been the most consistent and offer the best vege options to accompany your BBQ. Around 60k for 2 sticks and 3 choices of vegetables plus steamed rice, peanut sauce and sambal.

The fact that a small island like this has a night market is great! I think we weren't too lucky with our food as it wasn't too good. All stands offer more or less the same, I guess you have to be lucky with your pick. Nevertheless, for 70k it's a good portion and if you're not familiar with the indonesian food yet, you've got an option of trying different things. It's a great way to meet people and continue your evening anyway!

Must-see.

If you go to this market every single night for a week, you still have plenty of cheap delicious local food waiting for you; veg and non-veg.

Most of Gili T travelers go to this market for the supper. It's a little bit hard to find a table to sit though.
