  Ne Pakku Family guesthouse IS the place to be in Toraja!
  We stayed with Mesyke and her family for one week. If you want to have a real and authentic experience in Toraja, this is the place to be!! We realy felt like family her! And our baby foto immediately adopted by all the ladies of the house.
  Mesyke is An amazing Cook and a realy Good guide!
  The most important thing for her is treating her Guests as her own family.
  
  We've had the best time here!

  Absolutely an amazing place to stay. If you want to experience Tana Toraja to the fullest, stay here. The house is located in the middle of a traditional Torajan village. 15 min outside of Rantepao. The 4 rooms, the bathroom and the common area are upstairs. The bedrooms are very basic (no ceiling, (very good) matress on the floor (+ mosquito net), thin wooden walls and windowns without glass. This may sound bad, but it isn't. There is a good vibe, the host Meyske and her family are really nice and Meyske speaks English very well. Her mom is like a mom to you. We got a delicious breakfast and (vegatarian) dinner every day, she invited us to come to a wedding and we spent a night learning Indonesian. There is also a scooter you can use and you can arrange pick ups, drop offs and tours through the host.

  Meyske is a great host, (you can find her homestay on Airbnb) she will do her best to help you to discover Toraja by giving you great information or even by guiding you directly through this amazing region!

  Amazing place! We found this homestay on air bnb and this is definitely one of the best memories we have from Toraja. This homestay is simple (but perfectly clean and cosy and a new bathroom with western toilet is almost finished!), it definitely worth it for its host, Meyske. She is an awesome person who will do her best to make her guests happy. She has a great knowledge of toraja culture and will provide good tips. I really recommand this place! (And the food is delicious :D )
