The food was Great!! Tasty, Gravy and spicy! Had 2 portion and a whole coconut. Love the ambiance, the concept of the restaurant, it definitely draws attention the food and the concept. The price is affordable and if you're in Ubud this is the restaurant you need to try, i already miss this spicy chicken rice 😭😭

Great taste, reasonable price, great ambience and interior design with Balinese vibe, fast preparation, only the price range between rice mix with the condiment and rice separated with the condiment is too much i think, considered the difference if you choose to separated the rice and the condiment, they charged you 10k extra only for get the chicken broth in a small cup. But everything is excellent.

Better come before lunch time or after lunch time. Because they don't have parking area so you have to park on the road side and usually crowded on lunch time.

Wow this is a gem that is off the tourist beaten track you know it's great when you have locals constantly stopping to eat at this place no other restaurants or shopping nearby . so it's the food that draws people chicken cooked in a few ways served with rice slightly spicy but fantastic

If you ever come across Nasi Ayam Kedewatan restaurant in Denpasar, this place is the original one. Place at Kedewatan street, where the name of the restaurant come from. It consist of shredded betutu chicken, sate lilit ( this one is my favourite), fried chicken skin, marinated hard boiled egg, Jukut/Urap (veggie dish), sambal cabe goreng (fried mashed(?) chilli with coconut oil), sambal matah (chopped chilli) & rice poured with a bit of spicy soup. It's an authentic dish from Bali and like every traditional food in Bali, it's quite spicy. Its price is more cheaper than it's chain in Denpasar cause theres no tax. A little warning, if you wanted separated rice, it cost more eventhough it's the same portion. If you come to Ubud, this is a must place to try👍

Been here for more than 8 years already I remember. Never make me disappointed. Mostly crowded and usually after 12 afternoon their fried chicken is sold out. THR taste so far never change. I love this place as always. Kind service and tasty Nasi Ayam.

It's okay for such a famous restaurant. They serve nasi ayam (Balinese chicken rice) which consists a plate of rice along with shredded Balinese style chicken, sate lilit, roasted peanut, egg, urap (vegetable dish with shredded coconut), and sambal matah.

If you like Baliness traditional food and like spicy taste, you must try this restaurant. The original restaurant located in Ubud and they have branch in Denpasar. They specialist in chicken menu like ayam betutu and ayam suir. And that menu mixed with lawar (traditional salad), satay and sambel matah (spicy sauce). If you go to Ubud, you must visit this place

Cheap food but still very good. Large sitting areas so it's very comfortable. Each dish is around 30k. They have a small menu. Only 3-4 items but it's quite decent.

OMG only IDR25,000 for the most delicious plate of chicken rice imaginable. The restaurant itself is also really lovely, clean and serene! A must if you're in Ubud.

This is local food and it always very crowded !!!! But i still dont understand why they sell the food with very cheap price, it's just so weird or it's their trick to attract more costumer ? It's delicious and we can see beautiful restaurant which is located inside a complex of balinese neighbourhood. U will feel like being balinese.

After trying many restaurants looking for the best chicken, I would say that Ibu Mangku's is certainly among one of the best in Bali. Great tasting chicken (beware, it is spicy) and as an added bonus you can try restaurant with a real Balinese homey atmosphere. Complete with many temples in a kampung area. Just 15 minutes drive from central Ubud. Highly recommended.

Excellent Balinese chicken rice, apparently still unmodified in its finest local taste. It is spicy by default, so better come prepared! (But most locals should be alright)

Recommendation: Ask for extra soup, and do not skip the chicken organs. They are crunchy and tasty.

There is not much to say about the atmosphere of the place, as it is basically a street-side establishment. But you come here for the food, not the atmosphere.

They only serve one kind of dish, which is a "nasi ayam kedewatan", rice served with vegetables, chicken, and hot sambal. Very delicious. Very recommended. A must try.

Nasi ayam was very okay. I'd hope for a little bit more portion though. They also sell gelatos which tastes really nice.
