  Its a nice place. Do remember to NOT follow the directions to this place by google maps. Instead head towards pangli and you will find a sign there to turn right (from rantepao). And you will find it is much closer and the road is much better.

  This place usually crowd at the weekend because people in groups rent a place for their event. You can park everywhere, that's a mess. There's no museum exhibition. Only good view of surrounding with green fields and many 'tongkonan' building. Usually very hot when at noon. About 500m from the main road.

  Salah satu tempat yang wajib anda datangi jika berkunjung ke Rantepao.
  Biggest Museum at North Toraja.
  tempat ini awalnya merupakan tempat pelaksanaan Rambu Solo (prosesi pemakaman) Ne’ Gandeng yang meninggal pada tanggal 3 Agustus 1994, yang juga merupakan upacara terbesar di Toraja Utara masa itu.
  Kenapa dimuseumkan? Karena hanya di sinilah semua Tongkonan dan pondokan yang digunakan untuk Rambu Solo disini bersifat permanen dan masih digunakan untuk upacara Rambu solo sampai sekarang oleh keturunan Ne'gandeng. Kebayang gak ramenya Rambu Solo disini
  Ada juga Tongkonan yang bisa disewa/malam untuk wisatawan,tongkonan ini dimaksudkan sebagai tempat para tamu yang datang melayat.
