  Museum ini mungkin merupakan satu-satunya museum yang ada di Palangka Raya yang dikelola oleh pemerintah. Ada berbagai barang-barang yang disimpan di museum ini, seperti senjata perang jaman dulu, senjata perang dimasa kerusuhan sampit, berbagai peralatan rumah tangga khas dayak di masa lalu, miniatur rumah betang, dan juga berbagai boneka berpakaian khas dayak.
