Excellent excellent resort tugged away in the mountains. We had to take a 2 hour drive from Bali airport but it was worth it.

Upon arrival to the resort, we were brought in on golf cart to the amazing reception and were warmly well received. The staff was amazing and spoke good English. We promptly checker into our one bedroom private pool Villa which was so well equipped and had amazing views overlooking the mountains.

The free flow complimentary daily mini bar was perfect for our stay and to enjoy peanuts and drinks by the pool. The pool had two sections, the cold pool and the hot sauna which was perfect for the cold mornings.

Our bedroom was nice and the toilet was so luxurious with a perfect romantic blend. There was a make shift fireplace in the living room and long benches and sofas allowed a very homely feel.

We ordered in room dining for our two days there and the food was decent price and taste excellent! Definitely try the grilled pork chops!

Morning breakfast was very yummy too and the sunrise view in the morning at the main pool is just stunning.

On our last day; the resort arranged a very nice and competent driver to drive us back to Seminyak. The driver allowed us to stop over at some photo spots on the way and even brought us to visit a very nice local market! Excellent service indeed.

Overall my stay here was a perfect pleasant experience and I would highly recommend everyone to come here with family and friends to truly experience baliness living in the mountains.

From the driver who fetched us from Denpasar to the lady who prepared a bathtub full of petals, thank you for the warm hospitality served by all the staffs here! I absolutely love the chilly weather, private coffee garden tour, renown infinity pool and private villa, I’ll definitely come back again!

This is such an incredibly beautiful hotel. Perfect for couples! Some of the villas come with an outdoor private pool and a hot jacuzzi tub! Pool view is spectacular though try to avoid the rainy session if you wanna get a perfect sunset shot. Location is a bit remote so the hotel does provide transport for certain trips at a fee. There is a restaurant that's offers a wide range of local and western cuisine and you can choose to dine in the room as well. The plantation is big lots of tropical flora and fauna and there are 2 rows of strawberry farm and guests are free to pick the ripe strawberries. Being a coffee plantation there is a roaster next to the restaurant. Service here is top notch staff are really friendly and helpful!!! Definitely would come back! One last thing - water pressure in the room is pretty low and hair dryer is not the most powerful type. My long hair took an hour to dry😅😅😅

Very quite place, and nice view. The pool is wonderful. I will give 5 star if there is no mist or rain. Avoid coming during the rain season.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come again on a better season

Stayed here for Christmas as a splurge on our backpacking trip. Service was exemplary and the food outstanding. Everyone here goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. And of course the infinity pool is incredible. Cannot recommend staying here enough.

Mimpi restaurant at Munduk Moding Plantation Nature Resort & Spa, located in Gobleg area, Buleleng regency.

The view from the restaurant is jaw–dropping scenery, with the infinity swimming pool looks like the pool base on the edge of the cliff, very amazing. The weather is perfect with cool air, very refreshing. Don't afraid to swim because they warmed the water of the pool

The scenery is really beautiful, you can walk around feels so relaxing.outstanding!

The food is good, they serve Indonesian, Asian and Fusion dishes using as much as possible home grown vegetables. The price is worth every penny, compared to what you get! The service from the wait staff is fabulous, very friendly and polite. I think they're damn right to named the restaurant Mimpi (meaning Dream in Bahasa Indonesia)..makes you want to come again.

Actually Mimpi restaurant is part of the Munduk Moding Plantation Nature Resort & Spa, so If you plan to escape from the hustle and bustle of the crowd, then this resort is a must.

Absolute magic. The place exudes calm and tranquility. From your room, the restaurant, the jacuzzi or the pool; ok pretty much everywhere is the view. One minute you're gazing out across the Java sea to Java the next minute you're shrouded in clouds. And yes the infinity pool is stunning.
The staff are wonderful, they have the perfect balance between being genuinely friendly and excellent service.
    We will definitely be back.

We spent our first 4 nights in Bali at Munduk Moding and we had a great time. The views all around the plantation, especially from the pool, are incredible; the staff are friendly and helpful; and the restaurant provides tasty, if a little pricey, food and drinks. The breakfast is delicious and afternoon tea is included daily. The daily activities were a welcome addition and those we had time for were well worth it.

We stayed in one of the garden Suites and the room was great. Everything was clean, fresh fruit as well as tea and the Plantations coffee was provided, the view was incredible and some snacks were provided every evening.

The location is quite far from the main attractions in the area but a shuttle will take you to Bedugul and transport you around the area daily and another runs to Munduk and Tamblingan Lake every morning.

Beautiful location. Friendly staff but for some reason misunderstandings occurred multiple times for us regarding booking of spa for instance. Morning bird walk and coffee your was underwhelming. Food decent and decently priced too.

We loved staying at the Munduk Moding Plantation. The meals in the restaurant were really good (try the lime juice!). We loved their infinity pool and their hot tub (bubbles and heat adjustable).

The view was beautiful across the valley and too the mountain on the other side.

We tried walking through the plantation on our own, but couldn't find the correct path (you should probably confirm the path before going).

The room didn't have air conditioning (didn't need it because of the cool air due to the altitude), however, we did have bugs in the room so we used the mosquito net around the bed. It worked perfectly.

The room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable.

    We had a great time!

Amazing place! The views are simply stunning and the infinity pool and jacuzzi are beautiful. However, what makes this really a special place is the staff. They do everything possible to make you feel at home and genuinely seem friendly. The coffee plantation is 5 hectares and kept in great condition. They even have a vegetable/fruit garden (organic) and these products are also used in the restaurant. Talking about the restaurant, I really liked the food (even for me as a vegan I find there is plenty of choice). They offer Indonesian as well as Western food. Personally I prefer the Indonesian food! Besides, every three days children from the neighbourhood come to preform Balinese traditional dance. Apparently, they have free dance and english classes every week at this hotel. This is only one way how his hotel contributes to the local neighbourhood. I was told by the general manager Gede that they are also setting up a coffee company, both in Indonesia and Europe, where they will help the local farmers to sell their high-quality, organic coffee for a fair price. I can't wait to be able to order this delicious coffee back in Europe! There are so many more things I would like to share but definitely go for a hike to the waterfalls (or mountainbike) and of course go horse riding! They have four lovely horses and the two horsemen will help you and hold your horse. I think that was all, oh no wait.. I obviously forgot to mention the amazing spa! I really enjoyed the massage there :) Basically, skip the touristic south of Bali and travel up North where you will still find the authentic, rural, true Bali! There is no better place to fully relax and come back to nature than Munduk Moding Plantation! thank you :)
