I wasn't able to reach the peak due to the unforeseen weather that had accumulated during the hike, The trail is very much challenging for beginners as sometimes there's not an exact path and you may have to walk through plants along with the different steepness. But, the forest and the plains are beautiful and untouched by humans. You will often meet with cows but, rarely will you meet with the locals while hiking unless you're at the base. You will need a local from the nearby town, Nenas to guide you to the peak and get yourself ready for any type of situation that arises during the climb. But, the scenery and biodiversity of while hiking up the mountain is 10/10. I guarantee giving it a try to hike the highest peak of the Timor Island! :D
