This is one of favourite landmarks to hold event in Bandung. I was here to attend a political campaign 😇.

It was 19 Celcius in the Morning and 29-33 Celcius over 10 am 😆

Living in a (pretty) busy city is quite challenging in term of finding good public space, especially kids friendly environment.

Here, at Monument Park, there is a wide space for the kids to run, observe, play with friendly local habitual animals.

The kids love the trees, the bees, the cats, and there is an original coconut street shop. We almost always havr a good time here. Having a walk, drink freshly opened coconut water, enjoying morning sunlight, and then go home 😊👌

Here is my review. I'm visiting this place on Sunday morning.
1. Place : you can see it easily from the street. Because of the building. There is Garuda Indonesia in the building.
Also, on the cross street, there is Unpad building.
2. Historical : the building is built for a reason, right?
3. Since I'm visiting on Sunday morning, please prepare your wallet and stomach. Lots of "kaki lima" and very friendly price.
4. Transportation : public transportation is available.

Well with a place this big, government should have a nice educational spot about this place. The first time I come here, I don't know what or where should I go, besides I just take picture and wondering around on the area. Not so much visitors yet there is no single visible staff here to be asked.

Monument of the West Java People's Struggle (Monju) is the Museum of the History of the West Java People's Struggle, in Pasundan Land (Parahyangan). The monument was inaugurated by the Governor of West Java, Raden Nana Nuriana on August 23, 1995.

A beautiful monument, but doubt most peope understand the meaning of it. Not very acessible. I don't know if the museum under the monument ever open, or if it would ever open to public. There are also offices and an auditorium inside. But really, not many people would ever know.

I cannot see the philosophy and the esthetical values from the shape of this monument. The fences should not be there, in my opinion, because it avoids the people from getting in there. The area around the monument is also used as the weekly traditional market every Sunday which make the area around the monument is not clean and full of rubbish.
