Milas is a great vegetarian option in Yogyakarta. The prices are a bit more expensive than other local restaurants, but the quality is high. Diners can enjoy a long meal and good conversation in the comfortable courtyard seating. There are many dishes to choose from, and everything we chose was delicious. Try the bandrek with coconut milk to drink.

The food and atmosphere in this place is amazing. We had the Tempe steak and Tempe tofu sticks in peanut sauce. They only use organic and fresh ingredients. You can walk around in the garden and go to the little library.

    Very cozy atmosphere
Opens at 12 pm, I arrived about that time
And in about half an hour, the place is already packed.

    The price is reasonable
    The staff is friendly

The place is not air conditioned, but the trees around, makes it breezy and it's not hot, even when it's mid noon and sunny.

There's a parking lot for motorcycles, but none for cars
So you can park at the side of the street, but the space is limited.

There's a children playground, with block toys (lego and wooden block)
    And also a mini library.

Amazing place for vegetarian in Yogyakarta. Being a vegetarian in Indonesia isn't the easiest thing when you want to eat for cheap. Milas as amazing prices and great tasty food.

The service is amazing, quick and the waiters are really nice. The location is remote, so you cannot hear the Yogyakarta circulation.

Beautiful decor with tables or ground seating places. Lots of trees and nature.

It's a perfect place if you are an organic or local food or healthy diet hunter, as the basic concept of this little market. The sellers set some standards about the goods they're selling here and the most interesting is that you can find them very warm and friendly.

Amazing restorant not just the food but the ambient as well. It's open at 3 o'clock and it's getting busy quick so try to go there earlier

Best tofu I've had in ages. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere with gardens. After so many fried street meals a proper salad was amazingly refreshing.

One of the very few places in town where you can fill your water bottle for a few cents! The food is yummy and healthy, the garden pretty and the handmade products of high quality.

Loved this place. calm atmosphere, fresh food ingredients. good for dinner if you come before too late at afternoon. if it's already crowded, the waiting time will be long due to the queue.
the taste is local taste without additional flavoring.

Very peaceful garden setting away from traffic noise. Separate pavilions make private dining possible. Delicious vegetarian food, with an Indonesian emphasis is always freshly prepared. Great selection of drinks too. N.B. Milas is alcohol free.

When I need to eat healthy, this is the place I ought to be.
The menus are delicately served a good meal for your body.
You can enjoy the good air too, a mini store inside offers you good choices of ready to cook ingredients, and the souvenirs are lovely too, handmade and unique.

Nice place to hang out and have meals. All are suitable for the real vegetarians. I think the food in menu are made from organic selections. One thing that I dislike the surrounding is mosquito. I suggest to rub repellant onto your skin while sitting under the hut between trees.
