  Dari Masjid Tua yang bersejarah inilah, menyebar dakwah Iman & Islam ke seluruh wilayah Gorontalo dan sekitarnya. Sampai saat inipun, amalan dakwah dan tabligh, sebagai 'nyawa' masjid masih terus hidup, Alhamdulillah..

  Mesjid pertama yang di bangun di Gorontalo oleh Raja Sultan Amay. Masih ada sumur dan tempat mengambil air wudhu yg di bangun pertama kali bersama dengan bangunan mesjid.

  Masjid yang sangat bersejarah di Provinsi Gorontalo. Hunto adalah salah satu Masjid tertua. Hingga saat ini masjid masih berdiri dan digunakan sebagai pisat dawah di Kota Gorontalo
