I stayed at this hotel from May 26th - May 30th. My criticism: the lack of an "anti slip" rubber mat on the bathtub surface (which could be dangerous for guests, they can easily slip and fall during a bath/shower) and housekeeping forgot to take out a used cup of tea on my second day. Hence, I found ants devouring it when I came back to my room after a full day of scuba diving! To my additional surprise, I couldn't complain to the housekeeping dept. because the phone in my room wasn't even working. I was too tired and reluctant to make a fuss about it to the front desk, though.
Positive points: the bed is comfortable, the view is wonderful, and kudos to the 'omelette' guy at the breakfast cafe. I also enjoyed the fact that this is a quiet hotel, perfect for a weekend getaway if you're looking to relax with not much noise to annoy you.
Still room for improvement, but not a bad hotel.response / report this review -

Stayed here twice. And visiting here for just meeting twice. First was in a deluxe room,and the last was in a suite room. They have tasty food,and their staff is polite and having a great manner. Quite old fashioned hotel. But,many of their room supporting-tools is broken such as my room door-bell,the toilet flush,the lamp switch,etc. It should be replaced soon. And,the bed cover was stinky. The sofa was dusty. Overall,relatively good hotel.

Did not stay at the hotel. Pool is crowded with family. Beach lagoon area is pleasant. Whole hotel has a nice atmosphere - plenty of seating.

Good place to stay. But food services are really bad. It took them an hour to prepare sop buntut and orange juice. Close to dive center.

Perfect view, swimming pool and diving center! All we needed to enjoy greatly our holidays (super confortable beds, great food, amazing diving and snorkeling).
Really nice staff that care about our well being during all our stay. They will do everything they can to help you.
We used Eco dive for diving, snorkeling and tour in Tankoko and it was great!response / report this review -

Back then this is a Sedona beach hotel, then become Tateli beach hotel and now Mercure Manado. Only God knows what will it be in the future. It has changes the name more often than a drag queen.

Very green, nice place to stay with family or on your own or as a couple. Away from Manado city. With no traffic it takes 45 mins from the airport. Good room sizes but double beds are definitely for two ppl only. Single beds are at standard size, not bigger as in other hotels of this standard. Towels need replacing and some maintenance neglect. But relaxing stay overall

When you want to have a rest place out from city but not too far, this is a right place that you will need to visit.
30 minute outside manado and you can have a leisure place with beach view from your hotel room, or swimming pool, and also from your dining place.
This hotel will spoil you with high service spa (Martha Tilaar Spa) which you can only find in here

I think it's pretty good hotel, rebranding from old hotel make it looks new on the outside but still old inside. They have a great view, small private beach and jogging tracks. The room is clean but poor drainage at bathroom, you can make pool on it. Not responsive house keeping and over priced food. Not to far from downtown.

Newly renovated, Tateli is south Manado by a couple of miles but has everything you need for a couple of nights. Travelling with small kids is fine with enough space in the room for travel cot and all the clobber. The pool is good with children's pool and nice big towels. The spa facilities are affordable but if you only speak English you might have a hard time communicating. Breakfast is packed with choice with western and local fare. Dinner menus rotate frequently with periodical specials to keep things interesting and the bar is well stocked. The only major drawback is that despite having three big function rooms the management take bookings for loud teambuilding events which take place right in the middle of the U-shaped hotel complex and there is no escape from the very loud music and PA system. Otherwise Tateli is excellently run and has great staff.

Was a little worried reading earlier reviews but having a blast at this nice resort.
Nice rooms, Friendly staff, good location for setting out for a good snorkel session.
Heard that the management just took over 6 months ago so refurbishment is still ongoing.

This hotel probably has the most comfortable beds and pillows in all of Indonesia. The rooms are clean and well-designed with beautiful ocean-themed decor. Though the pool and grounds were well kept, the BIG DISAPPOINTMENT about this place is how dirty their beach is. So much trash washing in from Manado. The hotel should consider cleaning the beach once a week or even daily. Plastic bottles, bags, drapers, shoes, wrappers, etc. were everywhere. You won't want to lounge on the beach at this resort.
