As someone who spent 6 years just to graduate from here, I cant really badmouth my beloved uni, but lets be objective.
Stinky dirty disgusting toilets except one for the teachers (as theyre mostly well educated and well mannered people then its to be expected). Thats a good start isnt it? Ok lets begin
Providing wide range of majors to be taught tho not as comprehensive as bigger uni has. One of the cheapest uni you can find in Indonesia, I studied accounting and I can say that I got more than what I pay.
Has severe security problem, lots of stolen motorbike incident occured. They tried to implement better security but failed miserably in my opinion as the system is full of flaws that can be exploited by the robber, but nevertheless the robbers cant just walk as easy as before and the stealing case dropped a bit. Sadly, someones motorbike got stolen again even after this almost useless system implemented for a few months tho not as frequent. Gate system is visibly useless, too sad to explain so just give a glance at the gate and you'll understand 10.000 words that I wish to say.
The Commander in Chief of this university publicly used uni's money to promote himself for the governor candidacy, didnt he ashamed of his Professor's title? Serves him right that his efforts failed, tho he did get somekind of publicity and his face is kind of well known around the province for his shamelessness, shameless ducks. Fellow countrymen, please remember his face and make sure to not choose him in any kind of election!!! Lots of controversial and useless policy and decision taken during this man's reign, and it definitely dont make our uni step to a better level.report this review -

It's just a so so university. There are so many areas need to be evaluated and improved. I would recommend other people to search for another university instead going to university of Mataram. You better put your quid to another universities, e.g Udayana or UGM university.

A moderately good university in the town. The best one in West Nusa Tenggara, with almost complete range of courses including medic, law, engineering, economics, etc. Located right in the heart of Mataram, the campus provides a scenery green element to the city.
