One of the best shops in Bali! They have just about everything you want to buy. Fixed price. Some things are expensive but overall the prices are right. Check it out for yourself, you never know what bargain you can get. Also has a supermarket for all your needs.

Didnt like the store because of the location. I didn't like kuta at alltoo many people pestering you to buy stuff. Holiday places all the world have a discount store like this. Just a cheap department store and nothing else

Matahari kuta square ground floor are selling art and souvernir such as key chain, table and wall deciration and etc for tourist with fixed price than no need to bargain, upper floor is a normal dept store who sell cloth, cosmetic aand others

There are many shopping malls in kuta Bali but I think Matahari is the best .specially the outside market and shops all around the mall .but u need to know that u have to try to get discount from them some times u can buy things less than half price 😊

Good shopping mall, good prices. Not need to do bartering here, which is quite relieving in some cases. They sell pretty much everything if you're looking for souvenirs. One thing they pretty much don't sell properly is electronics. Only a small counter where they sell memory cards or headphones etc.

Ideal place for local stuff. Good collection of local artifacts, gift items, local perfumes, wood carvings etc. Also has vast range of branded products mainly clothing, footwear, perfumes, ladies handbags etc at competitive prices. If you are looking for discounts this is the place to go to.

I paid well over $110 Australian Dollars for what was supposed to be the best and most comfortable thongs they had. After being home for a few days they came apart. I have emailed them 4 times now. Still no reply from them. I'm not real happy about this.

It's all together a convenient shop. If you're visiting Bali and want to buy souvenirs for friends and family, I'd recommend this shop as you will almost get everything in there starting from dreamcatchers, Bali's handmade soaps to Chocolates and groceries.

went to counter with 5 dresses.
was told only 4.
so got another as was buying gifts.
when i got home.
i had paid for 6.
only 5 came home with me.
check receipt and what goes in bag.
have shopped there for 12 years and thought was safe.
wonder how many times people have had this done.

Good local stuffs and few international brands as well. There are many sales representative around but none of them is well aware of product specifications, which is why it takes long time to when you ask about details. Long queue in counter. However, they offer good discounts.

Quality name brands.

Five star shopping complex. Fantastic couriers and all round super market. Outdoor there are perfume sellers offer them Inr ,one hundred and fifty thousand a bottle. They will haggle but you will get it from that price.

We go to Matahari every time we come to Bali. Its a great place to pick up some leather shoes for a decent price.
Also a good place to get some souvenirs in a pinch or without haggling.

Pricey for Kuta. Can do better price for most of the items they are selling nearby. Well air-conditioned and tourist friendly, but takes a page from the department stores in terms of indoor arrangement with mazy layout, confusing arraignment of items, mirrors on every available wall to make it hard to orient and the like.

I think department store concept in this area is not suitable. The tall buildings facing the beach (eventhough not adjacent enough) is not maximized. No outdoor / roof top area on the high floors.
