  Very cowded here,especially when weekend come, many people doing sport and jogging around here, there is aslo "pasar terapung" near here, so you can shopping and doing sport at the same time

  Unique park with "Bekantan" as the symbol.
  How ever water spray is quite odd. 😀.

  One of iconic place. In Banjarmasin, big "bekantan" statue with fountain towards the river, the place also act as city outdoor sports activity, theres basketball course, jogging track, etc. Great view of martapura river, bridge across the river. There's also tour with boat to enjoy the river with just 5.000 rupiah, and if you want to go to Pulau Kembang, 45 minute with boat, it only cost 35.000 for two way ticket. Come on Sunday morning, the place is crowded with people. Enjoy the time..

  A riverfront located in the centre of Banjarmasin city. We can enjoying the river cruise using traditional motorboats which called "Klotok" with only 5,000 Rupiahs (approximately equal to 40 cents US Dollar) per person.

  Salah satu patung landmark khas Banjarmasin yaitu fauna Bekantan yang mempunyai daya tarik seperti patung Singa di Singapura dimana patung ini menyemburkan air dari mulutnya.Tempat ini terbuka untuk tetapi agak susah untuk mencari tempat parkir dipinggir jalan. Biasanya ramai di sore hari dan juga akhir pekan. Bagi para turis, berfoto dimuka patung ini merupakan hal wajib dilakukan ketika berkunjung ke Banjarmasin.
