  Menurut prasasti, Masjid Sholihin dibangun oleh R. Ngt T. Prawirodirdjo yang diresmikannya sendiri pada hari Kamis Kliwon tanggal 16 Jumadilawal Jimmawal 1885 atau bertepatan dengan tanggal 21 Januari 1954. Sedangkan menurut seorang sejarawan Solo Taufiq Effendi, masjid ini dibangun dan didanai oleh ibu menggung Prawiroredjo dengan dana sekitar Rp195.391,15.

  Masjidnya sudah berAC. Sejuk dan nikmat untuk shalat. Parkiran juga tersedia untuk motor. Disediakan penitipan sepatu dan sandal juga. Yuk lebih dimakmurkan lagi masjidnya.

  Tempat sholat untuk wanitanya nyaman, mukenahnya juga bersih dan harum. Tapi tempat wudhu dan toilet wanitanya kurang bersih

  Masjid ini sering dipakai sebagai pertanda/ ancer ancer orang untuk mencari alamat karena tempatnya di tengah tengah kota.

  Posisi Masjid di pojok perempatan jalan. Bagus, nyaman dan bersih. Sayang lokasi parkir gak ada.

  Masjidnya bersih, lokasinya mudah dijangkau. Hanya agak sulit mencari tempat parkir bagi yang membawa mobil.

  The mosque is easily reached, it was located on an itersection. The place is hot during the day and there was no AC. And the interior was clean, modest and tidy.
