I was staying in the Harris hotel above the shopping centre. The place is clean, modern and well laid out. There are around 600 shops in the centre catering for everything. I really enjoyed my time in Mal Kelapa Gading. 👍👍👍👍👍

I love to visit here on weekend, it is just because near english course.

So i spend my free time around. Many playground for kids like jolly, snow park, dedolanan (a free open space to play traditional game) and another playground.

It is huge mall, but not too organized. You also can find restaurants with many variety of foods here. Unfortunately i cant find the nursery room located. And it is quite difficult for me to ask and find service centre

I've been visiting this mall since they opened it. It is one of the best malls in Jakarta. It wasn't as big as it is now. It has evolved so many times. Wear comfortable shoes! Last time I went there, it took me quite a while to look through most of the store.

This mall is very nice, it has lots of stores and good fast food inside. I can find many stuff I want there, from clothes and accessories to grocery and restaurants! Oh, and there’s a movie theater too. On weekends, this mall is very crowded so parking can be challenging due to so many visitors.

The mall is so big. There are 3 malls of Kelapa Gading and they are close by to one another. Its also close to La Piazza place. This mall is completed with restaurants, shops, daily necessary shops, sport shops, etc. Close to this mall there are also some hotels which you can book. Like Harris Kelapa Gading hotel it is connected to this mall. Kelapa Gading is a huge mall and most visitors are both young and middle age people even also kids. Its good place to meet up with friends and also spending time with family and kids as there are also some toy shops and playground too. Close to it there are like outdoors cafe. Where you can just listen to the music and enjoy the weather with some meals and friends around. Very recommended

Been coming here since I was kid, and that time there were only 1 mall. Now they had 4 (but I think due to the Chinese belief that the number 4 brings bad luck, they skipped it and counted the mall to 5?)

Anyway, as per February 2018, they keep renovating even the oldest part of the building, but they somehow keep the original look that building has been having since decades ago.

This mall is massive. Directly connected to two hotels, have three different supermarkets, several (3 or 4) food courts, not counting a block specially built for restaurants, XXI cinema with IMAX, and the list goes on.

This mall has the stereotype as a Chinese-Indonesian mall 😂
But when you look it yourself, it's actually quite diverse!

This one is pretty mixed bag but the good outweighs the bad.

The bad:
- It's several mall merged into one so there are huge inconsistencies in interior design
- Confusing layout, not all escalator have corresponding up/down at the same place so you'll be often searching for that opposing stairs if you made a bad turn
- Parking could be better

The good:
- Shop selection is great, you'll be hard pressed to find more diverse mall options. From specialist electronics to hairdresser they got it all
- Lots of food chains to cater almost every preferences
- Generally spotless walkways and restrooms

This is a family mall.. you can find almost everything here. I agreet it can gets too crowded during the weekend..esp on midnight sale! But the place has many many restaurants, cafes, stores, kids area, outdoor play park, and the food court is huge..! Best mall so far and it brings sooo many memories 😍

In front of this mall, we were saw the road of mass rapid transit is being under construction. It to be a value added for this location due to easy moving to everywhere. The visitor will be more interested to come here.

Traffic jam will be reduce accordingly.

If your feel hungry or thirsty, you able to find many kind of food at food court. It is at ground floor. Stage of band also available at food court area. It make this place is very romantic.

Inside of mall, there is not different with others mall in Jakarta. Many tenant which offer their product etc.

I just like a food court and outdoor stage for band. We are feel such an open space in Jakarta.

The mall was spacious considering they build junctions from older malls. Store selection was very good. You can find almost anything. Lots of parking space although not connected directly to all floor. At Sunday it became unbearably packed but it was a good mall to hang out at any other day

Great mall. It gets pretty crowded on weekends. I don't blame it. You can find almost anything you need here. For groceries you can either choose The Farmers Market or The Food Hall (both sell quality goods). There are also Uniqlo, Zara, Muji, Giordano, Lee Cooper, and some other similar brands available. Same with restaurants & cafés; many, many excellent choices to choose from. The toilets are decent and clean. There are also praying rooms and nursing rooms (thank you!). I just don't like how you can't easily access the lifts (there are very few of them compared to the many people visiting the place). Sometimes the place (this quite huge place) gets so crowded it's a bit hard to look around. Over all, I quite enjoy this place. :)

This mall has a good facilities, including good parking facilities, food facilities. It's very clean and hygienic, including the restrooms. One of best facility, there is a direct airport bus which takes Rp 35,000.

The best time to go during the weekend is around 4 or 5 pm. On Saturday, it's not very crowded yet. On Sunday, it's getting quiet around 5 or 6 pm. If you go during rush hour, you could spend hours getting a parking spot. There's also a parking area next to Harris Hotel, you just have to walk a bit to the mall. The cinema has an IMAX studio but if you're planning to watch a movie, it's best to buy the ticket using M-tix as the queue can be extremely long.

This is a right place for you to spending time or having fun with family, friends, or others. Really suitable for you if you want to go shopping, having meal, and chilling. It has so many stores and restaurants. The parking lot is good, but it could be a bit crowded when you came on the weekend or holiday.

Second rank of the busiest mall in Jakarta. The tenancy mix is variant from cheap to expensive store. The change of tenant is also very dynamic. Some of tenants open their first store in Kelapa Gading Mall. It is also been developed regularly by their management.. So you won't feel bored.

Never boring to go to this mall. I can spend hours here. The tenants are very various from clothing, accessories, great various kind of restaurants, nice food court, clean rest rooms, and also shuttle bus with friendly staffs. I also like their exiting events each year for fashion and food, also street food festival. Such a great place.

Super big mall with everything inside. Shopping and dining will take you the whole day to explore around and they have the best food court in Kelapa Gading area. Weekends can be really crowded and hard to find parking, but since they have plenty of parking options (Mall 1,2 and 3) it's not an issue. Two main super markets inside as well, good for every type of shoppes, for family and friends, best mall in Gading!

It have a lot of tenant.
So you could say it is a "complete" mall (almost).
Its a random positioning mall i think,
coz they dont specialized in high-end not also low-end.

The cinemas is so big n cozy. The security n staff is polite.
Its clean. N fun to go.

They even have access to anywhere.
Ex: From n to airport. Next is rapid train.

Big mall. A lot of tenants to choose from. Consider the place you are about to go and where u park. Its a very long walk on each wing. Easy parking you can find is at la piazza parking lot. Its abandoned now. But u can still park over there. No one want to park there coz its very far to MKG3 (which is the newest extension)

All i can think of whenever i go this shopping mall is the selection of foods instead of anything else. Wide variety with price ranges. They also held annual Jakarta Fashion and Food Festival here but recent years moved into Harris Hotel on the other side of the mall. Good thing also this place connecting to other mall called La Piazza.

You'll need all day long to explore this place. Lots of eating place, but there's still some place under construction. You'll need to tie up your shoelace before walking around this place. You won't get bored because there's so much place to entertain you and your family.

Nice mall located in the North Jakarta, Kelapa Gading area. This is a quite big mall to browse through if you want to walk from end to end. It has two bookstores and both are also selling English books. 3 cinema complexes managed by 21 group include one IMAX theatre. Various types of food available here even if you are still not satisfied then you can walk outside the mall where still has so many restaurants to choose from. This mall also has an open space area with again several cafes.

Nice malls connected to each other with lot of shopping and entertainment choices. Easy to be found but need some energy to find the parking spaces. You'll recommended to use a taxi, otherwise you need some time to go around for the parking time, especially in their busy hours and days.

It is not super luxurious mall like Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia or PS. It is just a normal family mall. But that's the point, while other malls are less n less family friendly nowadays, MKG really caters to the needs of middle lower class to upper middle class. The rich af people who want to seek branded stores wont be satisfied

MKG have always been my favorite mall to visit. Mall Kelapa Gading has so many kind of stores, so I can get most of things that I usually need. It has many kind of restaurants, clothing stores, ATMs, supermarkets, and many more.

This mall is mostly an indoor mall (from MKG 1 to MKG 5), but it also has outdoor sections like La Piazza, where many big events are often held here and Gading Walk. You can find many good hangout places and cafes at both outdoor sections.

Having enormous size, this mall weirdly has many multiple same-brand stores. For example, in Mall Kelapa Gading there are 3 XXI cinemas, 3 Starbucks, 2 Timezones, 2 Excelsos, etc.

The mall is currently having many renovations and vendors renewal. In the weekend, the mall often get too crowded.

Excellent mall, you can find mostly everything here. They have a huge place, its like 5 mall become one. They also have open air mall with stage for band performance. You can find many restaurant, coffee shop, barber shop, cinema, and many more.
Its easy to go here with public transport. Great place for hangout and shopping.

If you gonna stay in North Jakarta, go to Kelapa Gading Mall. It is like township, u just stay there and usually you will get stuck in there because you can get everything that you want to find. They have a lot of interesting stuff and completely near from everywhere (for example: restaurant, hotel that directly connect with the mall such as Harris and POP hotel, u can hang out with or without friends/colleagues/family to their cafe, just shopping for monthly expenditures because there's Foodhall and Farmers Market, etc.). Go find itself for you own and you'll be excited.
