A spot to wait before leaving on a ferry.
Basic food and drink menu, reasonably priced, with fair service.
Bathroom not the cleanest but acceptable, plenty of space for everyone passing through and just 2 minute walk to the ferry checkins
Asking pricey for taxi services almost double what is usual.response / report this review -

STAY AWAY!!!
We had an awful experience at the Lombok cafe. We waited for over to hours for the bus to pick us up. After waiting we were stuffed into a small car. The driver didn't speak english and we had to navigate to the hotel by ourselves. Finally we arrived at our destination. The driver then asked for additional money for the ride although the transport to the hotel were included and already paid by us.response / report this review -

Incredibly slow food service. No one else was ordering and it took an hour to get my curry.

Bad experience In the way from gilli trawangan to senggigi beach ( 100 000 rp each) we had to wait in lombok cafe for over 1 hour ?!? In the cafe I asked for wifi password and the staff girl said she can't give it to me until I will order some food ?!? Very not nice place. And wasted 1 hour.

Terrible experience, we booked a shuttle from Gili to go to Kuta Lombok, they told us to go there and ask for our van. The guy who got out ticket was terrible, picked our ticket without any explanation, we waited for more than 1h without anyone tell us anything, just screaming to everyone. Even he argued with two lost girls and wanted them to leave there even with the ticket payed. Avoid as much as you can! One of the worst experience in our holidays.

Rip off like everyone is thinking. Fist you book an ticket from an gili to somewhere in lombok, and then you have to wait for a long time and they will most likely not drip you at you stay. They think it is business.

As a cafe it's not bad. It also doubles as the office for Semaya. Had a nightmare of an experience. If you don't have your wits about you it'll swallow you up. Ask fellow travellers questions and don't just sit quiet. Waited 4 hours for a fast boat to Bali. Nothing is communicated. Tbh if I had to do that journey again I would definitely fly. Proceed with caution

It's where all the tour companies have the customers meet. Prices comparable to other places. Can drinks Rp 15,000, cigerrattes Rp 25,000. Kitchen doesn't look clean.

Tourist rip off!! They run the transportation to kuta lombok and they even mocked the tourists that come to their cafe as they were told the transportation they already pay was waiting there. Another Indonesian mafia tourist ripoff

And yet another tourist rip off!! They are also running the transportation to Kuta Lombok. They will tell you on Gili Air that you will get to Kuta Lombok straight away with boat and bus. But nope, they will make you wait 2 hours for some public bus at their restaurant without giving you wifi or reliable information! There's also some shady transportation folks trying to sell you a private car journey to Kuta Lombok. Typical Indonesian transportation mafia!

Uncooperative staff, attempted to make us pay 300.000 for a room with no electricity (thus had to use one tiny candle) or wifi, a door that wouldn't lock, no bed sheets and and a leaking roof. It was late and there were no boats running so we had no other options, had to haggle to 150.000. This is the actual room price as our taxi driver informed us during the way up from the airport; they will try and rip you off. Do not use the fast boat service; it is not fast, and 50x (yes, fifty times) more expensive than the public ferry. It boards from a dodgy beach through a jungle on the peninsula. Again, we had no choice or faced 2 days stuck there due to storms and no ferries. Painful experience, never go there or use their services for anything.

For travellers I recommend stopping at Lombok cafe to organise transfers. Use WiFi. Good food and friendly staff. Short walk to boats. Book bluebird taxi (app store) to where you need to go. Avoid harbour. 15000 idr to gili trawangan from ticket booth. Beware scammers ***Bangsal gangsters***
