Nice looking venue with great music in the background. Food was average - we ordered two types of tacos with a side of chips and guacamole and two cocktails. Kitchen was SUPER busy so it took just under an hour to get our food (we were told it would be delayed prior). However we still thought 45mins to get tacos was unnecessary. Good vibe though.

One of my favourite place in area to have Mexican Cuisine

They have this "friendly" ambience with a simple music.
Their food is great, with some sense price.

Oh and they open until quite late, so you have to try it if you in the area and have the time.

Came here with my family and straight off the bat the service was phenomenal! We were served by Carlos who was so lovely and accomodating he constantly kept us laughing and smiling! The food itself was amazing and as were the delicious drinks. Really well priced for the sizes of the dishes and will definitely be coming back before our trip to Bali ends! 10/10 best Mexican in Bali!

This place is fantastic And not just because I smashed three mojitos at my hotel pool bar before rocking up here. It really is great. Why? The food is completely palatable. And it's what I would consider as quit generous. Ambience wise, it's not so bad But i would honestly be surprised if anyone were to have a bad meal here. I will be back. Guaranteed.

Amazing service from friendly staff. Food was delicious and came out quickly. Authentic ceviche was the highlight!
The drinks were also well presented and tasty.

Very nice Mexican experience in Seminyak. Excelleny value for money with a large variety of well prepared Mexican food. The personell is nice and I'd choose it again even if not placed in the best position being in front of a quite congested street.

Delicious fajitas superb enchiladas. A authentic Mexican place but with a limited vegetarian option. With great cocktails try lacalaca signature margarita it's spicy and delicious.

Been twice now as so close to our accom! Wouldn't have gone back if wasn't good tho. Staff are nice, music is very eclectic food is filling and good. Cocktails look great (from a distance) happy to go again. Can't compare it to Mexican restaurants in Mexico as I've never been there. The fajita was delicious, fish burger was good as well.

Tl;Dr -- go to Taco Beach instead.

Had high hopes for a well rated Mexican restaurant, but was sorely disappointed. The appetizers, both fundido and chips and salsa were not very flavorful. Then we proceeded to the main course, where the chicken quesadilla was inedible, the tacos were overpriced, and the burger was not cooked properly. Then the charred beans were also inedible, topping off an overpriced and not very good meal.

I didn't expect the food to be that good for that price! I ate at places in Ubud 4 times that price and 1/10 as tasty. I tried many Vegan dishes in many restaurants in Ubud, and this place is a must try for vegans. Highly recommend the sate/satay and the crispy mushroom ^^

I had the Verde, a refreshing nonalcoholic beverage and it was really really good. I also had nachos from the kids menu as I just wanted something small. Chips were great. Salsa(pico de Gallo) was good. The guacamole didn't taste fresh and a bit dull in flavor. My husband had enchiladas, which were vegetarian, and had a bit too much/too many flavors. They were pretty overpowering. Maybe we didn't choose the right things at this place but we weren't impressed. Really all we wanted were hard shell tacos but they didn't have those on the menu.

We had the Fundido, (melted cheese, chorizo, tomato, jalapeno and tortilla chips), would definitely order again as tasted and looked great although a little small for a sharing plate. Drinks wise we had a My My Mai Tia which the wife informed me tasted like orange juice and not alcohol 😁, I had a Caipirinha again not too strong but both will do the trick.

This was the worst food experience I've had in years.
I was with my girlfriend for dinner and I started with a classic frozen margarita which was just awful. It tasted like it had metho mixed in.
We ordered a tuna tostada at the same time as the drink. The tuna was powdery like it had been frozen and thawed (badly).
I thought we had to give this place ago and ordered grilled corn. Surely they couldn't mess this up, but no, they found a way to ruin grilled corn. Serve up bad produce. The corn was tasteless and dry.

LOVED IT is an understatement! From the second you walk in this joint, you're greeted by all smiles from the gorgeous staff, amazing vibe, cool music

Highly recommend the Beef Quesadillas / Chicken Fajitas and the Beetroot & Feta salad is to die for. Drinks wise - can't go past the spicy margarita (infused with Jalapenos) it'll blow your socks off (in a good way).

Seriously just go.

Bean tostaditas = round corn chips loaded with what tasted like canned corn and a hint of beans.
Chilaquiles: weird flavour, not proper red salsa, more like something that resembled mole but wasn't and not much chicken either. You'd understand if you've ever been to Mexico and had this for breakfastit's divine. This was specially disappointing.
corn chips with dips: garlicky guacamole (yes, guacamole does not contain garlic) so couldn't taste the avocado and tomato chutney??? not proper salsa.
quesadillas pollo al pipían: tasteless even with a spoonful of garlicky guacamole and tomato chutney which cost extra.
extremely disappointing. I think the people who have given the food a good review have never eaten real mexican food, or even Taco Bill!
So it looks like Mexican food but it doesn't taste like Mexican food. Don't bother.

Fantastic food and drinks in a laid back, alfresco setting.
The staff were great - especially "Carlos" - the balinese mexican.
Recommend the quesadilla Pollo En Pipian as well as the chicken and (especially) the beef tacos. Magaritas also worth traveling for - and with 2 for 1 Fridays.. with the house DJ spinning laid back tunes set in a perfect outdoor / indoor setting that had been refurbished to reflect the Mexican cantina beautifully. On point.
Being just off the main strip - this is a great little venue that we'll be coming back to.
