  This place is one of my go-to dining places on the weekends. If youre a fan of izakaya, then this place is for you. If youre a sushi fans but just want to snacking out, then this place is also for you. However if youre hungry and expecting sushi in a big portion then you might want to consider to choose other sushi places

  What a hidden gem! The main food was great! Love their curry and tsukemen, so flavorful yet still light so it won't make you feel like it's too much. But their champion was the kushi and yakitori series! The gyutan is their best! The chicken series (skin, gizzard, livers) are really good, having no smell at all, the texture also amazing!

  I like the food but the waitress not good like they didn’t respect not friendly not smile even we ask them they didn’t answer to us especially we are Indonesian I come here many times even though not only me my friends also feel the same , but for Japanese people they’re so nice and polite I don’t know what they meant is or they think we can’t pay ? But honestly they manager more friendly. Sorry for giving bad review but if not always like this again and again I wouldn’t say this .

  I got new LEMON SOUR and it was awsome which is not on the menu now so I am really lookong forward to drink it again😍😍😍😍💓🙋💓💓💓 Also, I really like the atmosphere here.

  This is great restaurant of Jakarta. Good Japanese seasonal food and good hospitality of staff and clean facilities. And price is reasonable.
  I recommend Chawan mushi. It is one of representative food of Japan.

  Affordable price with real Japanese food. All foods is using no pork and lard. The person worries about it also can eat. Two separated private rooms is available. Highly recommend negishio sasami with the coldest Bintang beer in Indonesia. You should definitely go if you are living in Jakarta

  Yakitori place, and more Japanese food
  
  The only Japanese resto in Jakarta (that I know) that built a tile roofed wall inside the restaurant, reminds me of Himeji castle. Kushimushubi has a wide and deep variety of food, although mostly are Japanese skewers (yakitori). Had some grilled okra and garlic, and grilled mackerel (saba fish). Kushimushubi is quite pricey, if you look for cheaper price but good quality, you might need to go next door, Kaihomaru.
