Beautiful Island resort. You can go snorkelling on the reef right outside your bungalow. The food is amazing and all of the staff are great too.

We had such a great time at the Komodo resort. We stayed for 7D/6N in Sept 2017 and spent most of our days diving and we did a half day tour to Rinca.
* Amazing scuba diving: We went on 9 dives in total at 6 different dive sites. They were all spectacular. We saw manta rays up close (which was at the top of our list to see!), turtles, white tipped reef sharks and beautiful corals. Also the house reef is great for snorkeling.
* The dive team is really great. One of us was a brand new diver and the other was advanced but hadn't been diving in a long time and the dive team was very accommodating to both our needs. Special shout out to Leo, he helped us complete the scuba review and check dives and made sure we felt comfortable for our upcoming dives. Plus watched out for us on the dives making sure we were safe. Super professional, knowledgeable instructor and just a great guy.
* We are experienced travelers to remote locations (Namibia, Uganda, Pakistan to name a few) and this resort is impressive if you consider the fact that it's on an otherwise uninhabited island 45min from the nearest city: good wifi, hot showers, air conditioning, a gym, super comfortable bed and pillows, 24h electricity and most importantly great food (suggestion for the resort: an Italian espresso or latte to complement the food would have made it perfect)
* Overall service is top notch. The total staff consists of 80 people: for a resort with 16 bungalows that means you'll be well taken care of. They will serve amazing meals in a heartbeat, arrange your day trips, spray your room every night with mosquito repellant and even take you out against the current if you want to snorkel the house reef so you can ride the current while you see amazing things under water.
Obviously you pay a premium for a resort like this but it's worth it!response / report this review -

Away from the busy labuanbajo, perfect clean little hobbit houses along a nice Housereef. Good food, lovely staff, good service professional diving. In a short time you will feel like part of the family, and it will hurt to leave.

Diving eccellente! Resort immerso nella natura, bungalows ampi, semplici ma molto molto curati, ottima cucina indonesiana e italiana spiaggia bianca . e immersioni stupende! Pesci grandi e piccoli, coralli (vivi) di tutti i tipi , specie e colore spugne, tartarughe mante ..! Siamo qui adesso e già pensiamo a quando torneremo portando amici e figli! PROVATELO!

Super wonderful scuba diving points, and delicious Indonesian/Italian cuisine. Even best location for skin diving, clean accommodation, nice weather, and friendly staffs. No TVs, no radios, no phone calls, e-mailing is ok, perfect for escape.
