Here at around 07 00, in heavy shower, & thunder sound accompanying lightning lights

No Visitors spotted, only the park people, gardeners, library inspector, sound system technician for seemingly preparing various stages for entertainment music band, traditional dance, educational shows, etc

Various botanical items are tagged with information labels

Children Playground can be seen here & there, fitting venue sizes, inside this park.

Hut-modeled Buildings, blend naturally with well cared garden, patio, side-walks,

Also there are zoo venue inside this park, deers of at least 2 spieces.

Nearby is RMI Culinary Park..

City park, multifunction. Kids playground, hang out for couples and kids, open from early morning until evening. Close at night.
Kids love to play here, give the mousedeer and deer vegetables to eat, feeding fish in the small pond. You can buy mousedeer veggie and feeding them. Each bundle is 1K. Usually sold as 5K for 4 bundles of veggie and 1 fish food. You can also seen several kind of birds.
Culinary is also one of Taman Flora attraction. Experience unique Surabaya Street Food like Loempia , Rangin ( mixed of flour, coconut flakes, coconut milk and some sugar-salt baked in Rangin traditional dish mold ) , rujak manis ( fresh fruit with sweet sugar caramel sauce ) , fried street food like Tahu Isi ( veggetable filled fried crispy tofu ), Ote ote ( mixed of flour and vegetables fried in crispy way) , Tempe menjes ( Fried and crispy mashed Tempe with flour ) , traditional ice cream, also taste the original Surabaya Cuisine : Semanggi Surabaya ( four leaved clover with puli crackers ( rice crackers ) and nut and sweetpotatoes sauce. Delicious.
Also, kids love riding delman, horse drawn carriage. Each person pay for 5K for riding delman surround the Taman Flora. Happy Hours and Have a great holiday..

Salah satu tempat sejuk kota Surabaya. Beragam tanaman, berukuran besar dan kecil. Fasilitas toilet, playing ground untuk anak-anak yang berupa permainan ketangkasan dan lahan pasir, jogging track, penangkaran burung, kolam ikan, dan kandang rusa. Banyak tempat untuk beristirahat. Ada pula pendopo yang biasanya digunakan untuk beragam acara, juga beberapa bungalow. Di taman ini juga disediakan perpustakaan dan pusat belajar. Di luar taman, namun masih dalam satu area, terdapat foodcourt. Parkir motor lebih mudah dibandingkan kendaraan roda empat. Pada sisi selatan taman terhubung dengan rumah kompos Bratang. Tempat yang sangat mendukung untuk mengenalkan lingkungan hidup pada anak-anak, dan murah meriah.

I give 5 star for its free entry and there's small zoo, small kids play area and huge array of food stand especially on Sunday. I said free its also including bad toilet(just like most of free public facilities in east java)

Great place to visit. Free and clean. A bit stinky if you visit the animals' cage area after rain. Nearby the garbage collecting area, so the smell sometimes stink if we pass nearby the area.

the facilities like public restrooms are not clean, I can say disgusting. Very unproper to treat public facilities with such minimum attention of cleanliness. The park itself, is clean I can say, and refreshing. But to attract more crowd who would love to enjoy spending their time there, the restrooms definitely need to be replaced with a new one.

Nice place to relax and stroll, with cool air and lots of trees. There are deers, fishes and various birds. Playgrounds available. Kids love this place.

I love the place. It has many food stalls near (in Sunday), they have food terrace too, water fountain, reading spots as well as pretty animal showcases like deer, merak, and some birds. It's clean, nice, green and comfortable! :)

Nice to relax, jogging, you can meet the deers too. Nice place for family, it has many playing spot and library. don't worry about the meal because many foods and drink with really cheap price sell here

I like this place. It becomes a nice public place, for family, friends, or group. Good for morning/afternoon sport, vacation, discussion, environmental activity, etc. Thank you Surabaya government which maintain this friendly place.

I love this place. It is a flora heaven right in the middle of town.
It is so green and cooling, it is some kind of getaway!
There are many matured trees here.
There are 2 large eateries at the entrance of this garden.
Long beans and other vege are sold at the gate.
Buy this if you want to feed the deer in a mini-zoo.
