One of the big post office in Jakarta. The queque-ing system sometimes not really working, as the staff will ask you to move from one line to another.
and sadly some of the staff have very limited knowledge about stamps and philatelic stuff (I recommend you to go to Kantor Filateli Jakarta located in the back side of this building if you're looking for philatelic stuff).
There's a postbox near the wall, or you can drop your mail in the big postbox in the front of the building for nostalgic feeling (caution, not every postbox is working). You can open a PO BOX here too, ask the staff for the price as it may vary.
pro tip for philatelist/postcrosser: If you're looking for a beautiful postmark for your mail, go down to the basement and go to the mail sorting room to ask them personally postmarking your mail! :)
reform pos indonesia!!! my parcel stuck in here and the staf here said would resent the parcel but at the moment i write this review it never arrive. the staff said like a month ago.
My parcel stuck here looooooong enough. If you guys got parcel from abroad you should contact customs here once you got "processing documents by customs" status.
Pos Indonesia is the best.
I got my second parcel from abroad yesterday.. It was such a relieved that the parcel arrived on time. But the first parcel seems like no idea where to find. I have to go to this central post office to manually check my parcel. Such a disappointment that I have to come and ask for my own parcel with no idea where it is for months
it's maybe the modern post office ever, in jakarta,
due to it's a central post office too.
they had system, like queuing, which is better than small post office.
Sending items is easy.
Receiving items from abroad is a nightmare. The paperwork is not clear, and the integrity of the staff questionable
