This place is like a colourful rainbow city. It's similar with Kampung Jodipan in Malang. This village is located in Kalisari, Semarang. This village are separated by a small river from the main road. There's no entry ticket for this place, we just need to pay parking fee around two thousands rupiah. There's so many hit spot to take a picture here if you are lucky to find it :))

This place is good for vacation, weekend getaway or something. Kampung Pelangi Kalisari located in the heart of Semarang city. There are many florist over there, you can buy flower or even plants. This village has many colors, like a rainbow. Worth to visit. Ask your family, friend or someone special, this place is also good for instagram photo aka instagramable.

Kampung pelangi is one of government solution to renovate the environment. Basically it's lot of house painted with rainbow color. The stairs is too straight, you need to take a break for a while when walking in this Kampung.

The Government did a great job to pack this area into a tourist attraction. There r more than 1 entrance, we can start anywhere. There are no entrance fee, but they should be some donation box to put on for developing this place. In one of the entrance we can rent an umbrella if we cant handle the sunshine. We will be welcomed by the flowers stall in front of this place, then we can park our mbike right behind it. It has clear route and arrows about where we need to go, and also the local will be there to show you the way. It took lil bit climb skill and endurance to explore the village due to the hilly lanskape. But dont worrry, there are plenty of snacks and drink stalls (warung) along the way (and the price still normal).
