John Hardy Ubud Workshop & Showroom

Based 20 minutes outside of Ubud, Bali’s arts epicenter, the John Hardy Workshop & Showroom sprawls over more than four acres. Guests can tour the open-air design center and watch designers at work while learning how the Classic Chain is hand woven. In addition, they can visit the Kapal Bambu boutique, which houses a vault of more than 10,000 pieces including special vintage collections, and also explore the organic farm.

After touring the compound, visitors are invited to join the full staff for a (free!) traditional Balinese lunch served under the shade of a Banyan tree. Every day, the compound’s resident five-star chef, Pak Ngurah, prepares lunch using the organic produce grown on the compound for over 700 employees.

Artisans and designers create each piece of jewelry by hand surrounded by the very culture and nature that inspires so many of the pieces, and guests are invited to experience the full process of artisan-crafted luxury.
