We were a group of mixed experience divers wanting to dive at Tulamben Liberty Wreck together. Jan gave us a great package that involved getting the PADI Open Water Advanced divers and Discover diver refreshed and or ready in the pool the day before heading out to the site from Sanur. The dive team we had (Feby and Ismail) were excellent as guides and instructors, and both had us entertained and confident in the water. The organisation was flawless, both days were right on schedule and stress free with a more relaxed first day in the pool and two dives at Tulamben, lunch and a two and a half hour drive there and back on the second day. Other highlights were, the thorough training in the pool, the professional photos and videos of us, the wreck and wildlife (this is an extra cost, but worth it for the priceless memories), the nice social lunch at the resort and how both guides created such a seamless experience at the dive site. We shopped around before going choosing Joe's and did not regret our final decision. A massive thanks to the team for what was the penultimate experience of our family holiday. We will never forget it!

My daughter and I were planning to go to Bali but didn't know how best to spend our days. Looking into the options, we discovered that scuba diving was among the top attractions. We decided to do it and inquired of several dive shops in the area via Email. The folks from Joe's Gone Diving got back to us without delay and were very accommodating, so we felt like we belonged there. We did a 3-day open water course which included one day of pool training and two days of ocean diving to get our certification.
Our instructor, Kyle, began the first day by fitting us with gear. He was very attentive to our needs and concerned for our comfort and safety. We spent about three hours in the pool learning the necessary skills one step at a time. The next day, it was the big timeSCUBA in the ocean! We were picked up at our hotel and driven with the instructors to a well-known dive site with excellent reefs and sea life. We took two dives, had lunch, and were driven home. The next day we finished our course with two more ocean dives and received our certification.
The team at Joe's was top-notch. They had everything figured out, from transportation to snacks to showers after the dives to lunch to scuba gear. We didn't have to worry about any of our needs being fulfilled. And, above all, with all the fun we were having, it was obvious that our safety was their first concern. Thank you, Kyle, and the rest of the team!

Catur, our instructor, was the best!! He was so helpful, very patient, and always safety oriented!!

amazing and so professional - had the best diving experiance and everything was so safe and professional and most of all fun. Went to Manta point - the dive masters where so professional and made the experiance so much fun. They explained everything we needed to know about the dive site and safety and they really brought all of us divers together. Will definently be diving with Joes next time in Bali

They did a good job of making sure I knew everything. The only problem I had was too much sun second day maybe they could have insisted I wear a shirt. Sometimes we focus on the other part of learning. The company did a great job.

Everthing was perfect. Pickup service was on time. The staff is very friendly, helpful, experienced and professional ;) During the dive I felt all the time very save. So i can only recommend to dive withe Joe's gone Diving.

And yeah i have seen Manta rays and see turtles ;)

I am a beginner diver (not certified in any way). I had a very bad first dive experience with another company. However, we came to Joe's Gone Diving and I had a great experience! My dive instructor, Maria, was fabulous! She educated me and made me feel very safe on my discovery dive! This dive shop was very clean and professional. My husband is also very happy that Maria was such a great instructor because he has been hounding me to learn to dive forever ;) I plan to get certified now. Thanks Maria and Joe's Gone Diving Bali!

The perfect place to visit the wonders of Balis oceans. Booked with them in advance and had a professional and good experience. The instructors and dive masters are fun, professional and great divers. They will do everything in their power to make sure you have a great time both under and above the water. I had a great day at the Liberty wreck with one on one instruction from the very patient Kyle. Comms before the trip were quick and professional, payment options were helpful, the gear was all in good condition and hotel pick up service was a bonus.

I had a great time with Joe's! Kyle was my divemaster on a fun dive to Tulamben. I was so excited to see the wreck and all the marine life. Kyle was very professional and friendly and made me feel very comfortable in and out of the water. This was my first fun dive after being Open Water certified and he gave gentle reminders on protocol before diving which was very helpful as I'm still getting the hang of things! The lunch was great and price was affordable. I also asked for Kyle's advice about my plans to hike Mt Batur after my dive, he suggested to only go on one dive instead of two since I will be going to 1,700 meters less than 24 hours after diving. I was very grateful for his suggestion and I did some snorkeling while my buddy went down for the second dive. I had a great time all around!

I had a great experience learing to dive in Bali with the folks at Joe's Gone Diving. Jan, Mirjam, Tarryn and the rest of the staff are a great group of people. Got to see some great dive sights and received high quality instruction during my first time diving. If you are a beginner learning to dive or an experienced diver looking for a new experience in the waters around Bali, I highly recommend Joe's Gone Diving. You won't regret it going with them. I hope to go back there again soon.

What a great dive centre!! I dove with a few friends at Joe's Gone Diving in Sanur, Bali. I was great! The owners are Dutch but they also speak English and Indonesian. The diving was beautiful and really safe! You can do a lot of PADI courses or just dive for fun. Jan and Mirjam (the owners) will help you with everything and give you a lot of tips for site seeing. If I am ever going back to Bali I will defenitely go diving with Joe's Gone Diving!!

Professional and fun.

Both Jan and Mirjam are great instructors and guides. Beautiful dives, nice equipment, great service. A fun and personal approach to diving, and very knowledgeable and reassuring instruction for a beginning diver like me.

Definitely worth a visit. I'll certainly be back now that I have my open water certificate.

Great people, Jan and Mirjam are great. They came and picked us up, Jan was amazing pointing out everything underwater. All the equipment was brand new, lunch was fantastic, I could not ask for a better dive experience. Fantastic all around.
