Stasiun Pasar Senen adalah stasiun kereta api yang melayani rute keluar kota jabodetabek ke kota kota Di pulau jawa dan juga melayani transport commuter line rute jabodetabek dalam satu stasiun. Dengan begitu ramainya pengguna jasa transportasi kereta yang kurang didukung oleh pembangunan infrastruktur yang kurang memadai menjadikan stasiun ini padat manusia yang cukup padat. Area parkir motor yang kurang luas dan sedikit tempat parkir mobil menyebabkan antrian macet yang cukup lama. Fasilitas layanan digital lengkap. Maupun loket layanan manusia juga banyak tapi masih kurang cukup memadai. Ada mesin anjungan tunai mandiri. Banyak juga berbagai kedai makanan dan minuman. Kurangnya tempat duduk menyebabkan banyak pengunjung ataupun penumpang banyak yang duduk dilantai dan koridor juga banyak yang berteduh dikarenakan kurang ada area berteduh kecuali tempat keberangkatan dan kedatangan yang tidak terlalu luas. Bangunan utama terutama tempat kedatangan dan keberangkatan merupakan bangunan peninggalan zaman Belanda yang direnovasi kembali.

you can find some convenient stores & street food around the station, there's a waiting room for passenger but needs to be expanded, over capacity when it comes to long weekend/public holiday

It's a big train station. It serve both local commuter line and long distance train lines that went through out the Java Island. Station is neat and still preserve it's old school architecture, since it's has been operating since 1925.

litle bit suprise with progress with station pasar senen,it must be crowded because one of largest station at jakarta.
and if you buy economy class the terminal was from here.
toilet was clean now,a lot of direction now.so you dont have to asking staff you already know where will you going.

I pass through here every go to Malang. Pasar Senen Station certainly has a ordinary reputation, but I think it often gets portrayed as worse than reality.
Pros:
1) The train service from here is unbeatable. More than 8 inter-city lines and inter-province lines, making it the best train station in Jakarta City and possibly the country to travel to/from.
2) There are so many places to eat/drink and shop that no matter how often you are here there is always something to do while waiting.
3) The location is perfect, right in the heart of Jakarta City.
Cons:
1) The station design is drab at best, and just plain ugly at worst. Clearly it needs a major overhaul.
2) The layout is a bit of a maze for people unfamiliar with the station, but makes sense once you get used to it.
3) The station is over capacity, and at peak times there is a line to enter/exit the station itself and every train.
However, there is a brand new train hall under construction that will resolve most if not all of these issues. As of today, it's not pretty but it gets the job done!response / report this review -

Better than before. But there still difficulties for olders or disabilities. If you want to go peron 3, you have to pass it using underpass, which using stairs and no access for disabilities. Still need many improvements. Hopes later it will be changed by government.

Quietly clean train station with so many facilities around such as ATM center, praying room (mushola/mosque), minimarket, toilet, tenants and cafe. This train station located on Central Jakarta so you can choose another destination here, whether your destination are outside Jakarta Province or inner city.

This station have good toilet, praying spot, mini market, charging station, and big parking spot.
The ambient is old Jakarta aka classic Batavia.
The main problem is lack of sitting places.

One of main train station in Jakarta, that located near the center of Jakarta. The places are huge and many rails pass this station. The Pasar Senen station is serving passengers for intercity trains that have destination to West, Central, and East Java. Here, the station is clean and cozy. You can find some tenants and convenience store here.

Always happy when I visited this place. Because there will be new journeys. Although the price of foods or goods here are really expensive and really not suits the looks of it, this train station always has a place in my heart.

Dutch heritage was always long lasting.
South Waiting Room Aircon not in operation. Just several big electric fans only.

passengers can't wait inside where there's chairs before 60 minutes boarding time. so better arrive in time or else if you're way too early, you have to wait outside where's no chairs. could be better if passangers can wait inside.

I hate this station for many reasons. First, the location. Second, why people are not allowed to use the chair inside? If you want the people to wait outside, then put the chairs outside damnit! Third, so many confusion! At the tv screen you told the train passengers to board, but when a passenger reach the first gate, the guard told him/her that he/she still need to wait because the train is not ready yet. Wt..!
