I love this restaurant! I always visit when I'm in Bali, and their fresh pasta is outstanding. I love the pond and resident ducks, such a nice atmosphere dining here.

ROMANTIC DINNER. My first time tried the fettucine Bebek Betutu. My compliment by 5 stars! Located in central Ubud. At the entrance there are queen ducks welcome us. Cute! Note that you need glasses and/or more light to read the menu :) LOL

Nice try to make Italian restaurant without Italians cooking. So you pay more for the place than for the food

The restaurant was located inside a small road. But don't worry, just follow the Google Maps. Well, they served really delicious food. The ambience of the place was really cozy and quiet. Very suitable for romantic date. The service was also very good. The price was worth. We will come again for sure.

This authentic Italian restaurant is located in a wonderful former private Villa. The menu has a large variety of Antipasti (Starters), Primo e Secondi Piatti (main courses). They provide to different forms of Pizze for which they use an oven fired with coffee wood (the signature one is the more healthy). Portions size are good, prices are good, we paid the equivalent of 70 USD for 4 people with starters, main course and drinks. It's a hidden gem a bit off the main street in Ubud (turn in right next to the Starbucks and walk up the street until you see a sign at the left to enter)

Beautiful romantic setting, great for date night.
The staff so welcoming and attentive, even offered me mozzy spray as I really wanted to sit out in the garden but already had so many bites so sat further back. The whole restaurant is really pretty there is no bad spot to sit!
I had the grilled vegetables which were really tasty but a bit too oily and served with pesto which was also a bit too oily.
The Gnocchoi gorgonza was pretty good but it was a bit too light in texture.
The menu and the wine list has so many choose from!

After one week eating only Nasi Garong - which I love - had a decent Italian food for affordable prices and great wines at this place. Friendly staff and great atmosphere

Hidden gem just off the main road in Ubud town centre. Romantic atmosphere for a special candlelit dinner with superb food and service. Risotto was incredible.

Recomended for candel light dinners. Lot of wines to choose from. Amazing ambience, delicious wood oven pizzas, try with in house herbs. We tried the kaffir lime mojito it had a nice local flavor with a slice of sugarcane.
Its a bit dark in the restaurant though.

Nice surroundings although a bit dark? I had to use my phone to read the menu. Typically friendly staff. Very good food although you expect that in this price range. Pizza was some of the best we've had outside Italy.

Beautiful surrondings, great food but lacking service and a bit to pricy. A bit off from the main road but not too hard to find, even though we went on a friday night there was no need for an reservation since it was half empty and very big. We got a beatiful table next to the pond. We order pasta bolognese and ricotta & spinach dumplings. Dumplings were delicious and good sized portion, the pasta was nothing remarkable and a bit smaller portion. The staff started off very attentive to us but quickly the staff gather around the pond bar ( about 8 staffmembers) and chatted very loudly amongst themselves right next to us ruining the mood. When it was time to pay they did not give us much space but stood there watching as we counted and placed our money as if though they expected us not to be able to afford it. Would come back for the amazing surroundings and good food but not for the staff. 3/5.

Took my mom there tonight, overall it was a wonderful experience. Their grilled vegetables are exceptional good, and we love the bruschetta. The evening set up was lovely by the pond. We will be back.

Staff misplaced our order and it took 50 min and repeat inquiries before someone realised the mistake. Kitchen then went for a poorly executed "save face" option. The result: a rather mediocre dinner experience- risotto rice undercooked and the peas cold/not cooked. Salad missing half the ingredients. Overcooked spinach. Only my kid's plain pasta and the pizza came out right. Due to the long wait we had to leave straight away so no time to set things straight, or for dessert/coffee.

The restaurant has a romantic set up, an extensive Italian menu and a decent wine list. However, our food was only 2 stars and not worth 600,000 IDR, staff stayed well clear from our table and no apology for the mistakes. We will not be back.

Great place, we had dinner with a party of seven, proffessional staff, great and romantic atmosphere. Pizza's are delicious. +/- 110k. A little bit more expensive than the average restaurants but you get a nice beautiful surrounding and premium quality food for it.

The food is pricey, but has nice flavors. Just dissapointing they burned half of my dish. In such an elegant and expensive place (for Balinese standards) you'd expect better.

The most beautiful Italian restaurant in Bali. They have ducks frolicking in the natural pond with magnificent ambience. Impeccable service and delectable choices of food and wine.

Don't leave Bali without going there.

I really like Il Giardino, the setting overlooking the big pond is lovely, the food very good, extensive drinks and cocktails menu and friendly and prompt service. Pricewise it's mid-range and, all things considered, reasonable value.

Don't expect an italian Italian. It's Bali after all. They do their best in creating Italian flavour within their foods. Pizza was tasty - but lacking the real crust (on the bottom side). Probably you should not turn the oven off between servings - so maybe a heat problem. Free water as much as you can drink is definitely a plus. Atmosphere is great - especially due to the small lake and beautiful garden. It's a bit hidden, but if you find it it's one if Ubuds culinary gems out there.

Not that this restaurant only open for dinner. We ordered Tenderloin, Bali pizza and pear and Gorgonzola cheese pizza. Tenderloin is definitely 5 stars, exactly medium and the sauce was very good (a little sour and the mash potatoes were well done). Bali pizza, the cheese needs to be more fragrant and probably chicken to be more salty. Otherwise, it has nice texture but lack of depth. Salad, need more balancing on the sauce instead of just Balsamic. Environment is 5 stars, nice quiet surrounding. Best in July or August, where Ubud is a little cool. Pleasant experience and highly recommended. Nice music too

Wow. What a find. It is a little hard to find but well worth the effort. I have only been once but the staff are professional and obviously educated on the menu a can advise you on your selections.
The food is first class in spite of being at a large disadvantage eg not fresh milk etc they pull the rabbit out of the hat every plate I was served.
The ambience was amazing with really lovely world music, the lighting was a little to low for my eyes but the staff was quick with a light so not a problem.
