Wonderful hotel with traditional stuff dand heritage. Very artistic and antique hotel. The famous about this hotel is about the painting of the lady. The hotel service is very good, the staff are polit and humble to the guest. They have a swimming pool but not really big and near the breakfast area. If you looking place for calming your stressed out, I really reccomended this hotel. Their provide traditional breakfast, with lot of variety traditional menu. They also have cake shop inside, and the cake and cookies are good as well. Very good Hotel with touch of traditional heritage.

Good food, excellent atmosphere, very relaxed ambience. Must go there and also see the history of that hotel, linking it centuries ago.. good museum too. You can get vegetarian food in good variety.

Amazing food, great service and excellent spa. The hotel has a distinct architecture and at the first glance looks spooky but highly recommended for its amazing facilities. If you are looking for a place to stay in malang this is it.

This place hosts so many surprises and discoveries. From an elaborate interior with countless pieces of art to discover to great food and opulent breakfast that makes you want to stay longer. Service is fabulous and more than helpful. Great experience and always nice to come back.

Hotel Tugu is the only one 5 stars hotel in Malang. The place is so historical. You can ask the hotel crew to give a tour around the hotel. You will know the stories behind hotel tugu and Malang in history. Also you should try their Indonesian menu in Melati restaurant. They have the best food!

Hotel with a full traditional heritage design. Real Java feel will take you a few decades or maybe centuries back in time.
Many presentation of food and beverage or other is using an organic materials, such as leaves for the name of the food or real fragrance of real Jasmine flower on your table and bed. Very artistic and rich of culture hotel.

We had a pleasure to stay at Tugu. This hotel is like a museum -- antique collections from through out Java with some twist of local chinese immigrants house in a very nice Dutch colonial era building(s).

Do not miss the complimentary afternoon teatime and snacks. You will also enjoy Melati restaurant located next to the swimming pool serving great traditional and western dishes.

I recommend you to book ZAMRUD room (a step up) and you get a larger than king size bed, huge handmade round bathtub and so on.

We wish we had more time to explore the hotel. Perhaps next time.

Located in a heritage building at hte center of town. The building is very well maintained considering its age. The room, especially the air conditioning need to be refurbished.

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay in this stunning hotel !
Our room was extremely quiet even with open windows, spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed the helpfulness of the staff, and overall high quality of the experience. I would definitely recommend it ! We will be back !

This is quite possibly the best hotel I've ever experienced. The staff are friendly and remember us by name and engage with us like friends, the food is good, and the rooms are unique and comfortable. If I return to Malang, there is no question that I will stay at Tugu hotel again.

Upon checkin we received a drink an during the day a 15-minute massage. The tea and cakes during teatime were wonderful! The antiques tour is quite interesting. The food at the restaurant is also exquisite! Room was perfect! Service was also very good, we had some problems upon check-in, but everything was resolved very professionaly! Thank you!

Really nice hotel. We were just passing thru Malang for one night and I had no expectations about it. The Tugu Hotel was a pleasant surprise. Easy acess from the train station.
