It should have been at least a 4 star review.
Unfortunately they missed the core of Accor standards.
Everything was great since I was greeted the first time. Room was good with cleanliness at its best.
Then I had the first breakfast and I found out that the croissants they served were substandard. A very big sin for an Accor property.
I talked to the GM and got an explanation that they were actually going to improve it.
I hope it will be improved.

Good place to stay in solo.

They concept the place as its best of local place with its culture. Javanese culture, interior and stuffs.
Also they have swimming pool, fitness gym and spa.

The place is also easy to reach everywhere because its located in the city and so strategic place

I, once, stayed in this hotel about a year ago. Got relocated from previous hotel since the visit of President Joko Widodo. My first expression about this hotel is luxurious and not only that, this hotel put the Javanese ethnicity in their ornaments. Ancient and modern at the same time, a simply chic acculturation, which is lovely. I remember they have huge traditional sculpture placed as the receptionist wall and some ornaments near the chairs at the lobby. They also have live performance of Javanese gamelan played by two senior musicians. And the staff serve in great hospitality. The doorman, dressed in traditional Javanese costume. To be honest, little complaint, maybe they can make improvements in breakfast menu, but overall, I love the atmosphere, I love the moment of staying here.

It’s really the excellent hotel that I ever stay in Solo, the staffs I would say it’s amongst the best, especially the cheerfulness and friendliness of the staffs are really up above my expectations, welcome drink also provided while you’re checking in/checking out for free as well as I love the location, the location is easily to access, just pay 20 thousand rupiah for 1 tricycle, you can explore up till Klewer market, one of the largest retail market in Solo. Overall, I love this hotel so much keep it up and oh ftw, the places are authentically javanese

Missed this hotel and Solo, Really want to come back again.
My wish came true, I am back to Royal Surakarta again. Everything are perfect, great and warm welcome, the manager and all the staffs are very friendly. And as always, My room was upgraded as an accor plus member. Breakfast is really good, have many choices and there is traditional food stand. Wish can stay longer here on my next visit.

The Javanese interior is truly relaxing. Clean hotel, friendly staff, strategic location, nice room, good breakfast, tasty welcome drink & snack. Too bad, I didn't try the gym, sauna & pool. I'll try it in the next trip.

The hotel is located in a very strategic place, in the heart of the town. I stayed there for several days, but food provided was mostly the same. However, the room is spacious and comfortable enough.

Hotel reasonable but lousy management. They completele spoilt our evening in the restaurant; lousy service, cheated us with selling old bulls meat for sirloin. We had to wait lonv long time, food returned but alas without any succes. Beds are too hard to sleep on.
Donot book this hotel, ask your agent to book a better one. This people kill yo u r holiday pleasure.

i love the traditional ambience. spacious room with generous facilities and affordable price. had iron and ironing table each room. the food is okay, near the PGS, BTC and Klewer. near culinary centre as well. very recommended for families.

Paradise is not just for a tropical private island. A few weeks ago we went back to Solo and stayed at the Royal Surakarta Heritage, an amazing getaway in the middle of a heritage and inspired on the spirit of Java. We enjoyed the typical cuisine in an beautiful setting and managed to take in the hotel’s priceless qualities: peace and quiet. That’s paradise. Come in and check it out for yourself!

I had a lovely stay here, mostly because of the friendly service and the artistic touch of the hotel. I did have a "flooding" problem in the room so this takes a bit of delight off my holiday, however other than that it was great! I will definitely return here for another lovely experience (minus the "flood").

Hotel aircon is not cold.. Internet is slow And on top of this the 2 lifts broke down.. Only positive is my suite room was quite large.

Value for money? Sure.. especially in the low season, price is very fair, compare to other 5stars, moreover with another town, Solo is the champion. Hotel os very near to Keraton PB and Mangkunegaran, nearby Kauman, so you can walk. Minus point is small parking lot and small swimming pool, but it is indoor.

Great hotel. The room is big and the bed is comfortable. I always love having bathub on my room. Staffs are superb: very attentive, notice details i.e your name so you feel welcome. I'm glad i am enrolled in Accor advantage plus member because it feels very personalized for me with a great price. Location is right in the heart of the city, easy access to Klewer Market, 10 minutes away from Balapan train station. Fast wi-fi. The in-room dining is good, but could be better.

The food at the srikandi restaurant are fabulous 👍🏼. Big portion for a reasonable price. Service is very good. Friendly waiters Very recommended for a fine dining dinner!

Very strategic place to spend nights in Solo. It is near from Keraton, Masjid Agung and shopping centers. The interior looks 'very Javanese', which I like so much. Service is good and the place is clean. There are many Javanese street food nearby at night. The only downside is small parking area :)
