Comfortable hotel, nothing really special but nothing negative as well. If you need to spend a couple of night in Jakarta could be a good solution. Enjoy

This is a typical 4 star Novotel hotel. I like this hotel in particular as it is connected to the Tang City Mall. So you can easily go shopping or eat in the mall.

In the Novotel brand, this hotel ranks high. Maintenance and management of the hotel is good. The restaurant/pool/terrasse floor is very enjoyable. The bad thing is the fitness center which is tiny. Haven't tried the spa yet.

The service is good, the staffs are friendly, room is clean and spacious and it has connecting door to tangcity mall. Swimming pool is also clean but there is no cubicle for shower after swimming. Food selection for breakfast is also pretty decent. Parking lots are available right in front of the hotel.

Attending a special wedding of a relative So special they had big billboards, many flower boards & other things displaying the happily young couple - just like those of famous artists' events - people could have mistakenly thought this was a famous icon's event. Very beautifully decored & arranged, spacey, posh, various food choices, lovely gifts, abundant happy joyful attendees & attendants. Congrats!!

Actually was quite disappointed. The room smelled like smoke when I arrived and the bathroom sink was a weird design that splashed water everywhere. Its connected to a mall which is handy and the breakfast had very good variety and taste.

I like this hotel. Friendly staff and nice room. Good Breakfast many varieties of foods. Nice swimming pool and Great Location Many restaurants here. Next to TANG CIT Mall, Do not worry of your stomach.

Npt bad. Kind off close to the airport, connected to the mall, so i think its a good option for who has a short layover in Jakarta yet they dont want to waste their time at the hotel only!
They have a great massage service!
Room service wasn't pleasant! Ordered dinner for three, arrived late and very cold!

3 stars is all I can give…

Room was fine except the chair was seemed to been stained by drips of liquid that wasn't cleaned in time.

Breakfast was wonderful, Service was great by staff and even delivered my scrambled eggs to my table without knowing where I seat.

Overall, advice from me is don't reserve on local online travel agency or drive a car over to enjoy this hotel. Parking sux as no instructions prior to where to park - it is shared with the mall…
Reserve through Traveloka gets you sitting there at reception while you watch the other guests checked in and head into the elevator before you (not sure if they reserved directly or used the Accor Hotels app).

Check-in Ordeal:

After giving the verification data and ID, I was told to wait by the sitting area for the room to be ready, as we checked in a few minutes before the regular check-in time of 2 pm. After 20 min… and seeing others check-in and already heading towards the elevators, I asked again about the status of my room, as my family members were getting abit unrest. Information was given that the room was not ready, and at that point I was already abit displeased as even in local hotels have not taken this long for a check-in process. I took my family out to the next door domino's pizza for a quick lunch, and decided to browse around the mall connected to the hotel.

After coming back from the mall to check on the process, I was quite relieved to find that the receptionist recognized me and had the key card ready. I was pleased and took our baggage which was placed by their concierge area and headed up to our room, No. 216.

Then there was the next obstacle as we requested for a non-smoking room and immediately upon entering room No. 216 my family detected this was NOT a non-smoking room. We were debating whether to change or not as we are not the type to nitpicking inconvenience; however, since we had paid for a premium price, we believe we deserved better.

Changing Room ordeal:

There was a lack of communication between the reception and the housekeeping departments. I called the reception and they were really well-mannered and polite in replying to my request to change the room. Everything had seemed rather standard after the receptionist called back and replied they're ready to change us to a non-smoking room once they had arranged the transition and the designated room. He instructed that I wait in the room with my family and he will send someone to pick us up and lead to the next room. I was again pleased to hear the result, as I then felt that this is how customers of the renowned hotel franchise should be treated. So my family and I waited…. and… waited… and waited. 40 minutes after the last phone call, a knock on our door was heard and I opened and to understand from the staff that they were notified that we need to change room but he was here to check if the room had been emptied, I asked when can we change room and he replied that I need to call the receptionist. Thus, I did as I was told and again the friendly voice on the other end asked me to wait 10 min. and that was the end. 20 minutes went by and no sign of call or staff knocking. This just really made me boiled and called again to give them another 10 minutes to get their services right.

PS: want to commend on your staff's continuing friendly response and demeanor even when I have already expressed my displeasure… esp. to your house keeping staff Mr. Atma who moved my family and I from the smoking room No. 216 to our final non-smoking room No. 501, because I was blasting negative comments from room to lift to room.

Being Novotel I expected service level of those Novotel in France. but this Novotel is way above.
Staffs and service is at par with a five star hotel. Value for money.

Value for money. staffs makes you feel like a king. Nice outdoor dining area next to the pool
The bed is amazing infact one of the best I've slept in.
Connected to mall which is fantastically convenient.

Cups are not clean enough, they had stains. Wind direction for the Aircon cannot be adjusted, and is therefore not comfortable to sit in front of desk.

Great hotel, next to a mall. Staff are really helpful and efficient. Modern rooms, nice gym and pool where you can do some laps or just relax and order some food and drink.

Nice and Clean hotel. The only lack from this hotel is parking lot. Its quite difficult to find space to park your car. Coz it connected to the mall. Even at weekdays also a bit hard to park your car.

Very right spot for enjoying Tangerang City, connect directly with Mall really great advantageous. Nevertheless, clean and comfort are my family need, as long as my both kids are happy, parent just got no complain about minor things, only suggestion for faster parking register, more warmer pool kids water, better odor in pool changing room overall, just keep up the stars :)

Everything is okay except cleanliness. It's not on the high level. Lot of greasy stains everywhere. Ac can't be adjusted. It's either too cold or too humid. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Hotel is connected to the nice shopping mall.

Even though the hotel is deep in the city it is quiet. Modern. Friendly staff. Lots of different shops around. Getting around Jakarta, however, is very complicated.

Supposedly close to the airport but took over an hour to get to. Its located within a mall which is nice. The hotel itself was lovely. We had dinner at the hotel which was a beautiful place.

I have booked 4 rooms a week ago and confirmed the booking 1.5 hours before my arrival. And yet, when I came, 3 out of 4 rooms are not ready yet and it is 3 pm already (3 hours after the check out schedule). How does room management work here?

Perfect!!! I stay in here 5day 4night with my friends. The Swimming pool is clean, breakfast many choices menu indonesian food, western food, japanese food, dessert and all delicious, room clean no mosquito, all crew of novotel also nice, polite and friendly!!! Hotel connected with mall Tangerangcity if bored just go mall for watch cinema or hangout. No regret
