Hotel Indonesia Kempinski is conveniently right in the center of town next to Grand Indonesia mall?..actually you can walk there if you want.

It's a grand old Dame of a hotel, but has been renovated so the 5 star status remains correct. Great views of hotel Indonesia traffic circle and the swimming pool has good views also, though the layout is somewhat winding and strange.

Sunday brunch is excellent with a mix of eastern and western dishes including carved meats, fresh seafood and anti pasta.

A wonderful, centrally located deluxe hotel, right in the heart of Jakarta, and with a stunning massive mall connected to the hotel.

Surrounded by fine restaurants, spas, and tourist attractions, this is the ultimate hotel to stay in in JKT.

Rooms were stunning, bathroom has a wow factor, beds super comfy, breakfast was a culinary delight. Service and staff friendly, amazing.

What a beautiful hotel.

The best place to stay around the area. A combination of hidden sanctuary and convenient access to shopping mall.

The hotel was a historical building around the area, renovated recently while maintaining the historical side.

The hotel is located at very strategic area at the center of Jakarta. Just by 5 minutes walking, you can go to Plaza Indonesia and Grand Indonesia Mall. It is easy to spot and many access to the hotel. Either by private vehicles, taxis, transjakarta bus, ojek and so on. The hotel is not cheap, but it's worth it. Many facilities like gym, restaurants, money changer, gift shop, and so on. The rooms are tidy, clean and very comfortable. Their services are excellent.

While I've not stayed here, I recently enjoyed the Sunday brunch, which was brilliant. A wide range of Western & Eastern foods: sashimi, chili crab, roast beef, oysters, and heaps more. The desert counter was a pleasant surprise. They went out of their way to craft treats that looked as wonderful as they tasted. The service was impeccable, and the kids have an area where they can go and play (and give the adults some post-meal peace)! While the brunch here is a bit pricier than others in Jakarta, it is still a lovely experience in and of itself. I will be coming again (hopefully soon)!

Definitely a five star hotel! I didn't stay there, i just had lunch with my family, and met my dad's friend who happened to be the chef de cuisine at the signature restaurant. The hotel has amazing lobby, kind staffs, outstanding food. The high quality matches the high price.

My wife and I love to come here for their best Japanese food at OKU. The hotel itself has good facilities and right in the central of Jakarta. Very convenient location with two huge malls nearby. I’d recommend this to everyone!

Very nice hotel with a good story and heritage value, a good location, close to shopping malls and restaurants with lots of variety and entertainment. Breakfast so good with signature food from Indonesia especially The Famous Chicken porridge HI..
The staff also very helpful and communicative and also handy when we need something. KEEP THE GOOD WORK!

Great place to stay, especially when you're staying for business reason. It's placed strategically at the centre of the busiest business area of Jakarta. It's also connected to Grand Indonesia, a very good shopping mall. Or if you're in the need of the more luxury kind of shopping, simply walk tens of metres across the hotel to Plaza Indonesia, where everything is sold at a ridiculously expensive price. But you can stay at Kempinski, so I bet you can afford shopping here.

Back to the hotel, the service is excellent. Whenever you want the room to be cleaned, they will provide it. The room service is also exceptionally good. The food at the restaurant is varied and tasty. Actually this is the second best I've tasted (I still can't get over that one hotel at Senayan's delicious food, sorry). Just one thing though. The pool is a bit small. No worries though, for me it was just a minor dent compared to the positive experience I got. Well, the price was certainly worth it, I say.

Only attended a wedding here at the Bali room. Hotel looks and feels luxurious. Guest dropoff was right in front of the Bali room, which was convenient. Hotel is right next to the Grand Indonesia shopping mall, too, so you have options for parking.

The WORST Valet parking system EVER! My husband and I was attending a wedding at Bali Ballroom. I am 9 months pregnant, so we decided to Valet our car. When we were about to leave, I decided to wait inside while my husband get the car from the valet. I waited inside for about 30 minutes until my husband called me outside. My husband decided to get the car himself because the wait was too long. So, I thought I won’t be that long. I waited outside for another 30 minute-ish. Everyone around me who waited for their cars also got really frustrated and anxious.
My husband and the car still did not show up until the valet guy came and he opened the car keys drawer only to find out that my car’s key was still inside that drawer!!! WHAT THE HECK!! So, I waited for nothing..!!! So I asked the valet guy where should the car keys be.. He could not give a definite answer. His answer was “some are here, some are down there”

Seriously, Kempinski is a five star hotel. They should have a better system. I am sure this happens every time, but nobody has ever reported this!

One of the best hotels in Jakarta. Located in front of an iconic statue (Selamat Datang Statue) in Central Jakarta, it's a very strategic place to stay in Jakarta. Hotel Indonesia Kempinski got several facilities such as lounge and restaurants which offer varieties of foods and drinks. The Signature is one of the good place to try.

Hotel is good but lacks attention to detail. No money changer. The room had only one bottle of water, no milk powder for tea, no ironing board. Need to call housekeeping for everything. Had stayed at four seasons just few weeks before and had a rather pleasant experience.

Beautiful rooms, excellent service. The pool area is very nice and the bar also has a lot of very nice mixed drinks. Food is also very good. Executive lounge has very nice drinks and small bites to eat.

Older, but still very nice hotel in the central business district of Jakarta. The rooms are updated, but the corridors are narrow and dark. The gym is small for such a large hotel, but it is well equipped. The breakfast buffet is large, but the service and quality is only average. The staff is friendly and helpful.

One of the best and oldest 5 star hotel (as far as i knew) in indonesia. Located in the busiest street in jakarta. The hotel is directly connected with Grand Indonesia mall. You can see the busiest "street light" from your window. A bit overpriced actually. The standard room price is 2x higher than another 5 star hotel that I knew. No further critique needed for the services. One of my best experience.

Very historic hotel. One of Indonesia's national cultural heritage site. Originally established as "Hotel Indonesia" in 1962 by Indonesia's first president Soekarno. One of the first 5 star hotels in Indonesia. Now part of Kempinski Hotels chain. The rooms are luxurious and you can find many Indonesian traditional artworks here.

Used to work with a Wedding Organizer many times at this hotel. Great place, great room, awesome services, and very good food. Used to be "Hotel Indonesia" before they change to Kempinski. One of the oldest place in Jakarta.

I reserved to check in at 2 pm, I came at 3 pm but I must wait for an hour to check in because the room it's not ready they said. They still clean up and need time for 45 minutes, for the price I paid and the service they gave its not relevant, so dissapointed! And I reserved for executive room as you know 😿

The Hotel in the heart of Jakarta that offers the best view. I really love the breakfast because they have so many variety of foods and they also served their legendary Bubur Ayam Hotel Indonesia. The room is spacious and the bath room is huge. For sure I would love to take my family back there
