I assume this is the best hotel in the Tapanuli Utara County, couldn't find any other better hotels in this area. It is located in the jigh area, with cold fresh air.
Hotel staffs are friendly, room is clean, no need AC. The best thing is it has the hot spring water facility (5 mins by driving) for free for hotel guests. Perfect! I enjoyed it for 2 nights having hot spring bath.

Place homy.. but at my room no avaible for hot water and the weather at this location very cold.. so.. shower in the morning like shower using ice water..

the best hotel to stay when you are at Tarutung City. its located in an epic location so you can see the Lake Toba by the parking lot. awesome hotel. also the price is really value for money. although the services is not so good, but not to bad at all!

I've only been to 2 hotels in Tarutung city. First was Safari 2 and then this one. If I had to choose I'd prefer Hineni. It's not in the central of city but the view is really good. It has a spacious parking area, the staff is really helpful and the room is pretty clean. Surprisingly enough, they have many breakfast option (buffet: nasi goreng, mie goreng, omelette, kolak, fresh fruit, toast) and the taste is not bad :) I only gave it 3 stars but i think it's the best in Tarutung. Keep up the good work! I hope many tourist will come here, my hometown.

I stayed there few months ago and last week stayed again. In the mean time the hotel was improved dramatically. Bungelows were added, and they are more comfortable, have well equipped kitchenett, fridg, micro, cooler at the room. Much better stay.
The old rooms are Very basic room. Hot water (most of the time)
TV with local and foreign canals.
Internet is on most of the time.
Comfort bad.
Indonesian style breakfast only.
No other utilities at the room.

The hotel is quite cozy and looks good from the outside but the inside of the room is not well equipped.

Only one set of used slippers were waiting for me and my wife. The bathroom was just like a toilet you can easily find at any small restaurants(warung) or old department store in Medan.

The room temperature was low and there wad no heating system whatsoever.

I stayed at a premium room and it felt so cheap.
The few good things were that the owner can speak pretty much good English, no foul smell in the room, and relatively good exterior with clean restaurant and bungalos.
