Wonderful little restaurant and cafe. My wife and I haven eaten here twice and the food and service have both been fantastic. Prices are generally reasonable and a meal for 2 should be under 300K IDR even with more expensive smoothies (which I recommend trying). This restaurant also has air conditioning! The only one we found after a week in Ubud.

You will find Habitat across the road from the popular Monkey Forest tourist attraction. There is comfortable seating inside with aircon or outside watching the busy road. The staff are very professional and polite. The food was tasty and panty of options to choose from. They also cater to vegan and gluten free requirements well. Worth stopping by for a meal

I got the worst food poisoning of my life after eating here. Spent 36 hours with my head in the toilet bowl and a few days later I’m still not feeling 100%. I wasn’t sure it was this place at first (I also had some ice cream that day) but other Google reviews report food poisoning of the same kind. Despite the many positive reviews you see here (which is what led me to visit in the first place), I’d recommend being extremely cautious about what you order if you decide to go.

Lovely place near the monkey forest. Air-conditioned inside and green and lush scenery outside. Good food and friendly service. I ordered a latte and breakfast burrito. Both were delicious. I will return for sure.

Have a wonderful late lunch here. Had the seared tuna and a side order of fries. My partner had the fries here in December and had raved about them ever since therefore, we had to have them. The fries were decent this around round but, nothing to be excited about. I think the trick is, to order the fries twice cooked, this way they are super crispy like she had before. Bottom line: we would eat here again.

Great atmosphere, nice and caring staff, Signature salad was very nice and refreshing (vegans, vegetarians will appreciate it). Delicious Pad Thai. Very happy with the choice :)

Hello fellow vegan/vegetarians! If you're looking for a full breakfast treat then try the VEGAN TEMPEH & TOFU BENEDICT!! It was amazing. Have a jamu to get your digestion going. And finish with a Hot (!) Americano!
However the second time I was here I had a less good experience regarding the attentiveness of the staff. You could be finding yourself waiting for 10-15 minutes to order and have your bill picked up. A little slow..response / report this review -

Awesome spot. Get the phorrito and a glass of kombucha and enjoy yourself. Awesome breakfasts, too. FYI - don't sit at the street-facing bar too late in the afternoon, or the Monkey Forest monkeys will come try to swipe your meal!

This is a wonderful restaurant right next to the co-working space at Hubud. Wonderful menu with a great variety. Their Thai salad with chicken is one of my favorites. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the service. I have been there 3 times, and each time they were slow to both take my order as well as get me my bill.

The burger tastes like meat loaf on a bun. It looks delicious, but I was disappointed. The Pad Thai was okay, but you can get far better in Ubud.
If you are looking for American food, try Navy Seals around the bend.
If you are looking for Asian food. Anywhere else will do.

I've been to Habitat many times during my stay in Ubud. The wifi is among the strongest I've experienced in all of Bali which has been the reason for many of my visits. As a matter of fact, Habitat shows that good Wifi is possible and more so am I disappointed by most other cafes in Bali with intermittent and slow connections.
The coffee selection is ok at Habitat. Their caffeine-free coffee alternatives (beetroot latte, turmeric latte, etc) are a great idea but unfortunately too sweet. We've eaten here a few times but found the portions rather small, so make sure to order extra.
Overall this is a great cafe with a lot of space and great staff. And the occasional monkey visiting from the Monkey Forest make things definitely a lot of fun too. If Habitat would provide slightly better coffee (e.g. bullet proof coffee or decaf coffee) I'd come every day.response / report this review -

AVOID! At first the place looked respectable and had nice reviews. I had their Pho dish which gave me and my friend severe Food Poisoning resulting in 36 hours of vomiting and diarrhea. The dish didn't even taste very nice. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

We've eaten here more than a few times this week. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is served quite fast. Food quality is very good, not very Asian in style, more metro American/Australian, all well presented. Particularly like the pressed juices (instead of blended) and reasonably good coffee. More expensive than most other places in ubud by about 30%

Food was tasty have variety of asian food, healthy drink selection are a plus, they even have jamu! Staffs are also friendly and polite. Located within walking distance from Monkey Forest, so it's a great place to rest after meeting with the monkeys.

One of out favourite spots to work from in Ubud! Fast internet, enough plugs, great coffee, and a good selection of healthy and just delicious meals to choose from. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, they have AC running at a good temperature. To park your scooter, just drive up the parking area opposite the cafe.

Food is really good. However, been here twice with my partner and both times the meals have come out separately. Including the drinks. The last time we cancelled the second meal. They gave us 20% discount but we had to push for it. We noticed other tables having split up their meal delivery as well .
