This place is not spacious but serene and cozy with a simple swimming pool. The swimming pool is rarely crowded so it feels like a private pool.

Very nice and clean pool, the stuff is really friendly and the breakfast is good!
Everything is easy, also extra wishes as breakfast at 6, if you have to leave earlier.
Rooms are not very luxurious but they are clean.

It's near a lot of restaurants, the rooms are really small, the sheets of the bed were stained (although cleaned), the lock on the door is really old and so is the door, the beds are also quite old which can cause issues with your back

I've never stayed there, but their small swimming pool is great, and you can use it after paying only 25.000rp. Usually there is nobody and it is very peaceful! :)

Feels like home. The mini swimmingpool is good. You can go outside, walk around and finding coffeeshop, artstore, bar and else. Good to have a room here

Tulips Hotel is a small, quiet and very nice hotel. I feel like I'm home. The best part is their lovely and homey western breakfast, I like it very much.

Nice small hotel with a pool and old-fashioned European feel (the rooms are facing an inner courtyard accessed through an arched entrance). The staff are quite friendly and the breakfast is good, the rooms are cleaned daily and the pool on a regular schedule. Good value for the price. However it is not particularly close to the Malioboro shopping area, you will probably have a 20,000-25,000 rupiah fare for taxi or becak each way. There are tons of other hotels in the area with a huge concentration of tourists; therefore a decent number of restaurants catering to non-Indonesian types of food as well as antiques and expensive batik stores.

Super nice hotel! The rooms are beautiful, just the notice for couples that the cheaper rooms are with twin beds. The price includes a big and tasty breakfast, the restaurant is also open for lunch/dinner and you can buy beverages the whole day.
The pool is the best in town!
And very nice staff!
