No MSG added. The chicken is yummy, they obviously cooked it for a long time so it's easily falls from the bones. Bit pricy but worth the portion.
If it's a take away specially out of town, let them know and they will tell you how long it last with/without refrigerator.

Gudeg is one of the authentic traditional food of Yogyakarta. Traveller usually looking for this food in Yogyakarta and in my opinion Gudeg Sagan is one of the best. In this place, you can find a good ambience to enjoy gudeg especially in the night because they provide live music and you can request your favorite song as well. 👍❤

Because I do not really like Gudeg, I review a little.
I think this is Modern Gudeg, from a sense that has been modified in such a way. Good taste really, for me who don't really like gudeg, I can accept it. And savory, sweet, spicy also can. Affordable prices also for the restaurant class. The location is easily accessible yes.

One of the best Gudeg in my version. The taste is not too sweet, so it's more "friendly" to people from outside Jogja.

The ambience is pretty good, it's located beside the road so you can see people and vehicles passing while you eat.. Quite romantic, right? And also they have Live Band performance every night with nostalgic theme.. They usually play songs from 80's and 90's era

It is one of the most delicious gudeg in Yogya. You can have Gudeg kuah/basah (with some coconut soup on your dish), or you can have Gudeg kering (without the soup). The place is cozy and recognizable from the main street. There is live performance band as its attraction.

Price's moderate, quite pricey compared to other restaurants. The portion, however, is big. The best gudeg I can find. It's not too sweet.
