Good alternative if you are gudeg lover and want to try something new. Manggar is made from coconut's flowers, cooked in traditional way, resulting in soft and unique texture (normally stewed unripe jackfruit is used as gudeg main ingredient). Food is good, place is comfortable and spacious, price is reasonable. They have special drink called batok tea, made of ginger, lemongrass and pandan, served in coconut shell!

Nice place and ambience. But not for the foods. I tried Nasi Gudeg Manggar Telor & Lumpia Manggar. Lack of taste and pricey.

First time trying manggar. I got good recommendation about this resto. But in facr the taste not so good. Compare to its price, I think bit overrated.
