I extended our stay twice. Its a peaceful place and I rent a motorbike and used it to explore many other places like Mt Merapi, village trips. Staff were very nice and helpful. I found a hidden gem of Kopi Batu which provides traditional coffee from local beans. I have found some good surprises.

Nice homestay, friendly people. The homestay is a little remote, and therefore more relax. The temple is only 1,5km away and you can grab a free bike(mtb) from the house. The only disadvantage was the lack of bintang.⛰️🏘️🏡

We stayed 2 nights at Griya Harja Homestay and had a lovely experience. Great staff that speaks decent english and takes great care of their guests. The room was nice and clean and the shared bathroom had a western style toilet and warm water for showering.

We could get good mountainbikes for free which we used to explore the sorrounding villages and also to get to Borobudur temple (10 mins). We even got provided with a selfdrawn map and some good tips about interesting places in the villages.

They also organized local food and a laundry service!

Much better, cheaper and more relaxed than doing a tour from jogja. We came with Grab and they brought us back to the bus station the day we left. We would come back again!

Heerlijke rustige plek in mooie omgeving vlakbij Borobudur. De gastheren zijn echt super hebben info over de omgeving en halen eten etc als je dat wil.

Very nice personal that picked me up from the busterminal and brought me back there. They even arranged food for me during my stay. Nice and clean room. Beautiful view from the garden. They really take good care of their guest.

Great place to stay. Perfect place to be in if you wanna escape the city. Good views of Merapi and Merbabu from the front porch. Yudo and his mates are very helpful in getting anything that we needed.
