Very friendly and helpful staffs. Showed extra effort to fulfil requests and answer queries. Breakfast was really nice and lot of food options. But wifi is quite unstable and aircon was not too cooling.

A hotel with traditional design located in the central business district Jakarta.
On car free day, you can enjoy the relaxing view of Sudirman street while having breakfast in Andarawina restaurant (located at left wing of ground floor and facing Sudirman street).
The best menu is the traditional JAMU as well as fresh juices.
If you like Yoga, then try the yoga at helipad rooftop. A bit windy but fresh air.

Waiting for a meeting in Solo Lounge, nice seating arrangement and have a quite large number of sofas and chair. Have a good selection of snacks and beverage for killing time.

I have a personal history of this hotel so it's kind of a mix feelings. I had the opportunities to stayed in this hotel back when it's in its grandest time (in 1990s). It was majestic. One of the best hotel in Indonesia. Currently, besides their great effort to bring back its glory, anyone can see the failure. The hotel feels old, but lost historical value. Management and owner have to invent something soon, otherwise this grand hotel will lost it's beauty.

Every year The Indonesia Red Cross (PMI) will awarded peoples who donated bloods 100 times or more. There are 897 people from our country take a part of this celebration. They are preparing to attend the invitation from Government at The Istana Presiden Bogor. Its a kind of appreciation from The Organization to serve the member/blood donate by good acomodation at The Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel.We enjoy it.

It's an old place. But bargain price for easy access to some of the most important office and government buildings. Plenty of food choices if you're not settling in for hotel food

We stayed overnight for an event during a busy weekend. Booked 3 rooms but 1 was checked in late because the guest before us left the room without checking out at the front desk. However none of the staffs were aware of this and only told us to waituntil late afternoon, and several times of going back-and-forth, to finally have one of the staffs checked the room, and declared it was empty. Another issue was we already asked to have the three rooms to be close to each other, at least at the same wing. But we got 1 room at the end of a totally different wing. They also did not inform us about this during check in, which was a pity because later in the day we found out there were empty rooms on our wing that morning. but since we only found out about it late, they are already gone. There was also maintenance work for the hot water tank, and tv.. Service was so-so. Some of them were nice, some were unfriendly. But we got a complimentary late check out in the end.

A nice hotel, a classic one. Very cozy place for a weekend getaway. It's a quiet place although located in the center of business district that usually crowded. You can feel the Javanese ambience since you arrived at the lobby, a gamelan band playing the traditional Javanese songs.

Have really bad experience where Eagle taxi ( white taxi) Sahid Hotel residence taxi I guessed cheated my wife on taxi fare. The driver charged my wife for Rp350,000 from Sahid to Pasar Baroe where the most fare is around Rp80,000. I was not accompanying my wife at that time coz I m attending a meeting. I m regular customer with Sahid Hotel but after this incidence I m thinking of switching my stay to another hotel. I will share this bad experience with my fellow family and friends. If Sahid take necessary action on the taxi operator I will consider to stay in Sahid but as it is now I m hindering from staying in Sahid Hotel Jakarta. Thank you. Ahmad Nordzri Kuala Lumpur

I stay there for 3 days. This hotel look very Old, with old carpet in the room, many cracked on wallpaper, window, door, table, chair, etc. Also slow responding at check in counter, small parking area, some elevator are not working, and standart breakfast menu.

Heritage hotel with warm of javanese cuture, a cheap rate for 5 star hotel, solo lounge with live entertaint was give another value, a big space of room with sofa inside, a warm welcome of the staff, special thanks to Duty Managet, Mr. Bonni who escorting us to the room and also gave a free upgrade and make sure that everything was in good condition, two thumbs up

Need major refurbishment. I attended a seminar on one of the meeting rooms which was okay. But upon entering the hotel main lobby uuufh I could smell unpleasant old furniture and building. I hope the rooms were not as deteriorated. Being a hotel in a prime location it should have upscaled itself to a more respectable property.

Lobby dan liftnya wangi banget. Kamarnya cukup, cuman sayang di kamar mandi exhaust fan nya ga jalan, pintu kamar mandinya ga rapet. Breakfastnya lumayan, tapi buah buahannya kurang segar. Hotel ini kurang terurus sepertinya, sayang banget, padahal pada masanya termasuk hotel yang top.

The rooms here are not in its best condition and there is no wifi connection in the rooms. The only way you can get internet access is by using the lan cable provided in each rooms.

Other than that the overall atmosphere of staying in this hotel is still adequate.

A very nice hotel in Central Jakarta. It has a grand ballroom that suits your company's big event. There's plenty spaces of parking lot here. Love the foods and nice services.
