Great service and hospitality, definitely will come back again in another holiday. We had an early flight in the morning and they gave us breakfast boxes to enjoy at the airport.

Overall, the place was decent. Nice and big place. The staff was really good as well.
However, the cleanliness was not what I would have expected.
The jacuzzi was not as clean and there were some marks probably due to being old.
The room has a little smell but it is not too bad.
Would still recommend it as it is very close and convenient to the beaches.response / report this review -

A very special place to stay. The hotel is great, the room spacious and spotless clean. Foot is tasty and the drinks are nicely prepared. But what makes this place stand out of the competition is the friendliness of the staff. After a few days it felt like staying amongst friends.
Never ever in my life I have been to a place were the staff is “shining bright in what they do”. Can’t express it better.

Great location, friendly staff, and very clean hotel. We had the whirlpool spa room, the whirlpool spa is huge so jump in there and have a great time. Our booking included breakfast as well. Their buffet breakfast has all sorts of varieties of food, and it changed daily. Fresh food, great taste, and a beautiful view. The swimming pool area was very clean and had a beautiful view of the beach. The rooms were very spacious, amenities included, minibar, safety deposit box, toiletries, daily bottled water 2x, slipper, bathrobes, clean sheets and towels. The staff were very friendly and showed us around every corner. They offered a variety of activities every night, so if you ever wanted to stay in there is a lot to do in the hotel. I would highly recommend De Vins, it's a beautiful hotel in a great location that has a lot to offer. We loved our stay.

Good value for money, with clean modern rooms. While this hotel is a bit of a walk from the beach, if your looking for an inexpensive Bali home-base for your first time, then Devinsky Hotel may be for you. Stunning views from Level 7 where you can find the roof-top pool, bar and restaurant. Breakfast buffet is quite good and you won’t leave hungry. Good service from hotel staff.

Great hotel all rounder, friendly staff, good condition and convenient location slightly back 2 minutes from main street which is good because no traffic noise. Right next to Potato head, many bars and restaurants. Only 15 minutes from Canggu with plenty of taxis and also not too far from Ubud. The roof top is great. All round excellent value for money.

The hotel's location is isolated and requires a trip down a dimly lit, unsavory street. It's also a fair distance to Seminkyak Square so a taxi/scooter is highly recommend (particularly given Bali's climate).
The photos of the hotel itself are misleading - the rooms and facilities are clean but shabby and somewhat rundown and there is a constant smell of mildew throughout the hotel. We paid significantly extra for a Jacuzzi, which did not work.
WARNING - upon checking out we were charged an exorbitant amount for laundry, roughly $130 for what was effectively a single load of washing. This is more 20x greater than I've paid for laundry at any other hotel in the area.response / report this review -

My partner and I were satisfied with our 3 nights here. The breakfast menu and the scenery from the restaurant are very nice. The service was average. The location can be tricky to find at first as it is located a bit further from main street. However Shuttle service to Seminyak square was convenient enough.

It's an old hotel but well kept. It's a bit hidden from the main road, bit of walk is required to get to nearby shops or restaurants. Service quality is good but they seriously should improve on their breakfast spread.

Stayed in the Jacuzzi Suite room, very spacious and comfortable. However, furniture is overdue for refresh and sofa is quite dirty. Bed is clear and tidy though. Blu Restaurant and Bar serves good high tea and dinner.

Accessible by car, hotel provides complimentary shuttle service to Seminyak Square / Seminyak Village. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Service here is excellent. A good place to chill and relax, just to unwind from the city hustle and bustle.

The photos definitely make it look a bit better than it was.
The room was fine. Neat & clean. Just a few touches that could have been improved on. A bit of mould in the showers.
The breakfast was good. Good variety but eggs weren’t very nice.
Location was fine. Close to Potato Head & a few restaurants.

Nice pool area, but as other reviews mention, there is a lot of dampness in the rooms. Our clothes and bed sheets were damp consistently. The shell of the hotel is nice, and the pool area and service is great, but the issue of dampness and odor in rooms needs to be resolved.

First thing, my wife and I were checking out other hotels for another visit later this year. I found the Golden Tulip to be very modern. It has an endless pool on the roof with a decent bar and restaurant on the roof as well. I was shown the rooms which I found were suitably clean and well laid out. Everything seemed ok. The only negative that I found was that it was located at the end of a long laneway and it doesn't appear to be in the middle of a shopping and restaurant area like some hotels. It then becomes a question of what someone prefers.

The cleanliness of the room is lack, bathing suit is dull, but the location is close to the hits place in seminyak. There is a motorcycle rental. Quiet place and breakfast good. Staff very friendly

Very nice hotel, slightly tucked away but close to lots of places. Rooms are good quality with excellent bed and bathroom. Only negative would be lack of balcony or outside space in our room but can't speak for others on the hotel. Breakfast is good quality and service throughout impeccable. Definitely recommend a stay here.

This hotel is a perfect place for you who wants to get a peaceful stay away from crowded tourist places.
The location of this hotel is a little bit hard to reach because you have to get through a very narrow street. Hotel room was great and comfortable. Their staffs were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great but limited in choices.response / report this review -

Its a nice and clean hotel. Entrance is a bit hard to reach when it is very narrow and has motorbikes parking on the side. Room was good but the wood flooring was creaking everywhere. I can clearly hear whats going on in the hallways and even next door because the door has a minor gap in the bottom, plus the walls are paper thin.

Une expérience globalement moyenne malgré de très bons points:
- très belle piscine en rooftop
- petit-déjeuner bon
- personnel très aimable comme partout à Bali
- qualité de la literie
Mais:
- un peu loin de l'animation (Petitenget est avant tout un quartier bobo chic)
- tours proposés (Ubud) beaucoup trop chers (900.000 IDR ne comprenant pas les entrées sur les sites et sans aucune explication culturelle du chauffeur, qui est très pressé et anxieux de récupérer son dû en fin de journée)
- chambre 2e étage assez bruyante (couloir) et état d'usure visible (parquet)
