Basic terminal. Unfriendly staff (the women in our cases) and disgusting toilets that aren't even for free.

Very very basic ferry terminal, open air run down place, just to wait for your ferry and be done with it.

Don't expect much. Staff were straight forward but helpful.

Gili Air is a small beautiful islands if you're only there for the pictures and relaxing on beautiful sandy beaches, but

The beaches are mostly not swimmable, there was literally no one swimming as most people were taking snorkeling trips and it's very difficult to get to the snorkeling area from the beach, and when you do, it's not that impressive,

Food was merely average all over the island, even though some places do have good averaged priced food,

finally, people do seem to stare a lot as if they have never seen half naked girls swimming..

Gili Trawangan is more recommended, at least the beach and food are better, while people are the same.. :D

Do not take the fast boat from the company 'sindex'. the first person gave us the wrong time, so we missed our boat. The second boat had 2hours delay. Normal fast boat tickets including a shuttle to Ubud or Kuta costs around 250k (not 350k!)
Gili Air is a beautiful island and we liked everything except for the shuttle back to bali.

The harbour was the only getaway of Gili air Island. Gili air was one of three gili ini north lombok. This island was quite, not too many tourist. Unlike gili trawangan, gili air offer another value to enjoy tropical island. You can come to gili air via padang bai in bali by fast boat or from bangsal harbour from lombok or senggigi.
