Some people told this is the 4th biggest stadium in the world (after North Korea, Azteca, Nou Camp, Maracana). Gelora Bung Karno 'have a twin stadium', is Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow. Gbk complex is 2nd best spot for jogging and another sport in Jakarta sunday morning.

A great place for jogging in Jakarta.. and it's getting better after renovation ^^ its a lot cleaner now.. and comes with lighting effect (in the night of course).. and the feel was like as if it's welcoming everyone.. while before the renovation it seems like a more to a place for certain sport community only.. have never watch football game in this stadium.. but I think I'll think about it ^^ last time entering the stadium was when Metallica concert.. it was awesome! ^^

My church held christmas service here almost every year. Very old yet huge building. Can hold upto probably 1 million people. But not the parking lot.

Gelora Bung Karno stadium is the pinnacle and the landmark of indonesian national pride in Sports. It has so many things to offer if you want to do whatever erxercises and other physical movement activities. Jogging, running or merely fun walking around circular perimeter outside the stadium is very refreshing. Get the sweats, and breathe deeply you'll have peace in mind. Come visit here.

Decent. For a soccer stadium with its importance and capacity, this stadium is terrible. Stairway to the second level is dark without any lighting. By 'without', I mean no lamp, neon lights, or whatsoever.

This stadium will get a total makeover later this year, so I think I'll give it 3 stars.

I watch Indonesia vs Syria friendly game. Ticket was very cheap. But, the experience was unforgettable. This is our national stadium and one of the biggest attendance in the world.
