Pretty historical hotel I must say. The amenities were fine but the bathroom, the bathroom is just awful.

One the oldest hotel in Medan, in the past time it was named 'Hotel de boer' and built in the colonial era. nowadays this hotel is not as famous as the past time, there was a new highrise building built behind the old hotel building.

Old fashioned hotel, the rooms are wide big and many empty spaces that made it spooky. AC is hot & windows are hardly 100 percent fully shut.. yikes!

The room at new building so different with old building. Maybe the old was creepy, but not with this new building. I insert a request room floor 2 or 3 at new building when booking. You can see at my picture the new one. It's so comfy and clean room and bathroom. And 1 never change, the breakfast so delicious and have many variation. Budget hotel near center medan.

The hotel feels like a 1950s hotel because it's a colonial building. The lobby and 1st floor area did not look promising at first, but the room was actually great and doesn't look old at all. Location is the best because it's located at the heart of Medan (0 KM), in front of Lapangan Merdeka. You can find restaurants and food stalls at Merdeka Walk but most are only open at night.

Inna Dharma Deli is the oldest hotel building in Medan as one of the Dutch colonial buildings. Initially, the name was Hotel De Boer and built across the postal office. The surrounding area is dominated by the colonial architecture from buildings, railway, to esplanade that makes hotel Inna Dharma Deli historical plus point for tourists who love to enjoy colonial heritage.
The hotel itself has renewed the building to accommodate more guests. When you enter the lobby, you can right away feel the colonial vibe. The staff are nice and friendly to serve guests the best they can.
Walking around the area would be fascinating to take you instantly to feel amazed.response / report this review -

It was called Hotel de Boer build in1898 by Herman de Boer, but now it is owned by North Sumatera government. Maybe this is the oldest hotel in Medan.
