I stayed 3 nites there and very satisfied with overall service. Breakfast is good and food quality is great. They placed me in room with a nice view of blue sea and sunset with Manado Tua valley

It was an epic week. Nice rooms and the breakfast was nice too. Cool hotel! If only they consider to build a parking area for motorbike (for backpacker) that would be great.

Horrible service from the get go:
1. Front desk is on the third floor, at the ground level lobby, no one tells you this so you roam around and wonder where to go (no one was there except security guys who didn't say anything)
2. When you get to the front lobby, forget about having an efficient check in process even if you've booked your room for an event. When I got there, the line was long and there was only one front desk person active. The other ones were sifting through papers and looking at their phone.
3. I was tired so instead of standing in line I took to the sofa and tried to take a nap until it was empty. Security told me I couldn't all I said was that if the front desk was efficient I wouldn't have to even sit on the sofa, I'd be napping in my room. VERY, VERY bad service, especially by this guy. It would have been much more respectful if the manager sat down and asked politely why I was napping on the sofa instead of in my own room. Because I wasn't dressed in pants and suit jacket, the people at the hotel probably assumed I could not have afforded the $60/night rate
4. For the event, forget about having friendly people helping guide the participants to the ballroom. No signs, nothing. Even if you're told to "Ballroom one", there is NO sign for ballroom one.
5. during lunch, they ran out of silverware and plates. I had to look around for a stack of plates and silverware myself so the workshop participants could eat
6. the door to the outside parking lot kept getting opened to let the HOT air inside the air conditioned area. The reason? Because that's how their employees get out to smoke!!!

For how much you pay for the room and the event management, you could do better at the city hall.

It is located in a strategic location. Have a nice sea view from the premier rooms. The choice of breakfast and the food taste are excellent.
However, need to improve the overall services, particular the housekeeping. Just do not reflect a 5 star hotel service

The swimming pool is great with extraordinary view. But it's windy in the swimming pool area. The bed is very large and comfy. The WiFi connection is smooth.

The hotel could be much better. Breakfast could have better options, the staff needs to pay more attention to customer service. The decoration of the hotel is also not so nice for a four points. The water from the tub was Brown , I order one night room service and the french fries where cold and the salad never comes. They need to work a lot in the customer service and review the standard of other Four Points hotels to reach the five stars they are considered to be.

You can choose to get the room with city view or sea view. Prefer sea view, to see the sunset. From the pool you can watch the sunset too if clearsky.

The place is new and is located by the beach. You could literally see beach from your room and from the swimming pool. There's still room for improvement but for a new hotel, the service is quite good

Good location, beside malls and to a major supermarket store. Being one of the tallest building around, it provide an unblocked view to the surrounds. The swimming pool faces the sea. Room furniture is new and well maintained and service staff are polite and friendly. Most of staff could speak a little English. The daily amenities in the room such as shampoo, hand towels and face towels are not always replaced or provided.

The only problem with the breakfast is that the beef black pepper I got today is more like beef -fossil-black-pepper it's so,so,so jerky. Wonder if the cow was from pleistocene period

Hotel itself is pretty nice but, staff for restaurant and room service is really really bad. Slow and trying to cheat. For example we order 2 bottles of water (large) and swiss chocolate cake. They bring 2 small ones and when i said about that we order 2 big ones the guy act like its nothing and dont know anything about it until i show from the menu that it says 1.5L instead of 600ml. Only then he apologize and go get the water for us. Then, next day we order the cakes again at evening and what they bring to us is 1/2 size and whole different cake. We said thats not what we order and again the same reaction, like nothing and no apologies or anything. Then after 30min the guy comes back with another piece of cake (this time the right one) just quietly hands it to me(no apologies whatsoever)

This left us with feeling that they try to cheat (maybe because im caucasian..?) Its really common in this country but, i didnt really expect it in chain hotel like this. (Talking with experience, been living in Indonesia for 3 years)

Also alot problems in restaurant, we were having dinner there (almost empty restaurant) it took almost 1 hour for them to bring drinks to our table since the time ordering them. Another 90~min for the foods. All this wasted time we see staff emptyhanded, hands behind their backs just standing there doing nothing. 1/10. Food was just average.

Overall the hotel facilities are ok but the staff.. abal abal. 1/10. We will never visit this hotel chain ever again.

Great location and view, but not so sure about its local management.. average hotelier will immediately sense it, need a very close quality control by sheraton if it want to live up to the big name. Tao yuan resto was ok, but quality is still far behind its price tag

Nice new hotel, location good. But always lock your door in the morning because the house keeping sometimes knock on the door and barged in if you too lazy to answered them.
