One of the best restaurants in Ubud, great fusion and local dishes all cooked by an Expat chef owner and his Balinese cooks. All staff are very friendly and trained to International standards. Kitchen standards are extremely high and guests can see there meals being prepared/cooked. We eat at the restaurant twice a week and would have to be our favourite restaurant in Ubud that produces great meals and at a very good price etc.

I've been going to Fly for what, maybe 15 years and 2 or 3 owners including the originator. It's been a great run of quality food & drinks over the years, tho it's more costly to go there now, but a fantastic relatively new owner. The staff here over all of the years have been very, very good and put up with crazed patrons!

Highly recommended!
No matter where you are coming from, you will be completely satisfied with the food. We stayed 4 days in Ubud and never needed to try other restaurants after explored Fly Cafe. Local and international tastes are yummy!

The Fly is great for casual dining. The food is cafe priced, but more like restaurant food with a good menu and daily specials. Place is very chilled out, has lovely staff and is always a safe bet for finding a table. Very very recommendedsorry for my English.

Being Lebanese, I was happy to find Middle Eastern items on the menu like Tabbouleh, Falafel, and Hummus. I ordered the Shish Tawouk and although was skeptical at first that it would taste good, it took me right back home! The chicken was marinated in the right marinade and the sandwich had all the right veggies and flavours. The only thing I would recommend is the garlic paste that is usually served with this sandwich/ platter back home.

We have been coming to Bali for 15 years and
Have eaten in hundreds of place throughout the island. Our favorite hands down in Ubud for a consist fine meal is the Fly, Marcus the head chef knows how to put together a splendid menu that will wet the appetite. With great presentation and friendly staff.
We will be back.

Nice place if you want to eat local but surrounded by expats. Food is good and reasonably priced, atmosphere is also good. You can pay by card if spending over 100k, otherwise cash only. Wi-Fi available.
