  One of the most iconic street food in Palembang, es mamat serves mouth watering and thirst quenching shave ice with read bean and syrup. You can order to add avocado to your read bean ice as well. Along that food carts, they also sell other foods like baked lenggang, baked pempek, egg murtabak, etc.

  Es Kacang Palembang yg paling terkenal, lokasinya dekat Lapangan Hatta ya (bukan Lapangan Banteng kaya di judulnya).
  
  Biasanya disajikan dalam gelas tinggi, bukan di mangkok. Dan banyak orang milih utk makan di dalam mobil, krn tempatnya kecil dan rame, jd sering tidak dpt tempat duduk.
  
  Soal rasa, kacangnya yg juara. Lembut sekali, dimasak dgn gula merah jd manisnya bukan manis gula putih. Ditambah dgn sirup dari gula asli (jd tidak bikin sakit tenggorokan) + santan yg bikin tambah gurih.
  
  Sekarang dari sisi quantity jauh berkurang. Dulu sekali, es parutnya sampai menggunung di atas gelas. Skrg bahkan tidak sampai penuh.
  
  Jangan lupa untuk mencicipi makanan2 gerobak di sekitar Es Mamat ini. Ada pempek panggang, martabak telor kari, Model/Tekwan, Gado2, Mie Celor
