Nice view an atmosphere but a tiny portion at high prices. Had a fruit salad (apx half or third of usual portion we normally get elsewhere) for double (40k) the standard Bali price? Just a joke. Might be better for dinner and worth the money but we will no try

Great chilled out place for dinner. We found the concept a little confusing at the start but it’s definitely worth it. Great seafood selection and tasted really fresh.

    Nice place to spend evening-night,
    The food was great.
The only one problem here that its kind of complicated for the transportation.
As a local guide i found it kind of expensive to leave the place. Uber, Grab or any other platform to order taxis are not allowed to use here. In other way, you have to rent a car to leave the place which that is kind of expensive for me. They even have zones to drop off. The further your destination the more you pay.
But, it is not a really big deal. I completely enjoyed the place.

    Guide tip:
Ride/drive your own vehicles to visit this place. You can rent motorbike or car everywhere all around Bali.

    Love.

This place has great service, plus very friendly and efficient staff which of course leads it self to a great atmosphere. The location beside the ocean is also a bonus. I have been wandering into the place since it opened. I would guess that is about twelve years back. However I am male and married so I am often wrong.

Nice place to eat fresh fish and other dishes. The view on the see is really nice. You have a Salat and French fries buffet and you have to order you food yourself. Why I don't give 5 stars? Because it's nothing really special, and I saw a lot of special dishes here in the neighborhood. But as I said, nice restaurant and nice food :)

The place is cool cause it’s right by the water but the food was below average. We had some fried calamari- which tasted nothing like calamari it was more like fried bread, and some seafood kebabs which were a little better but nothing great. A little pricey place given the quality but I guess you pay to sit by the ocean It’s nice to go there for drinks and enjoy the sunset

Love this place. Their seafood and kebab combination are the best. Try kebab seafood! Music come from bar just next to dining area, nice music.
Bear in mind, limited parking space for car, must pass really narrow alley before parking lot.

Just OK but is worth a look given made popular in a song. Seems to have gone down hill a little since I was last there. Batu next door is a good alternative.

One of te best barbecue in Bali!
Get a table near by the water for a nice sunset view.
Dogs walking around hoping for you to drop some food; we liked it .
The buffet/sides could be better but a great place overall .

Echo Beach is a magical beach! Beautiful black sand beach, great surfing waves, and the best sunsets! Lots of restaurants to choose from, all with a lively feel and bar service. If you get the chance to get lost in time at this wonderful place, you definitely won't regret it!

A nice unpretentious restaurant by the sea with an indoor and outdoor seating area. We sat outdoors as the weather was lovely and the sea beautiful. You order your main dish and then you get to serve salads and sides buffet style. You choose your meat raw which is on display on ice and they grill it for you and bring it to your table when ready. Bonus - their toilets indoors are air-conditioned

Nice beach with dark sand and perfect for surfers. It's obviously possible to take a swim but better in the low tide when waves get weaker. Chairs available for an affordable price to take a sunbath or spend a few hours in front of the local bars. Good support infrastructure (toilets, restaurants) near the beach.

If you like your seafood this is the place to go. Lots of fresh choices and variety and not overcooked. They also have a selection of steaks and a buffet style salad selection. A table under cover or overlooking the ocean and the beauty of an afternoon sunset combine to make your evening memorable. Definitely worthy of another visit.

Great seafood BBQ in evenings and best chocolate ice cream I had in last 20 yrs

The only bad thing was the super tiny salad from the menu. The portion was more for children at 60k.for that price you get full menu the place next door

Beautiful beach filled with friendly people! We spent 2 days on the blackish sand of Echo Beach. While the water isn't always the best for swimming it is ideal for surfing. There were many surfers out and it was tons of fun to watch them try new tricks. Echo Beach is lined with little bars and restaurants all with friendly people. You can rent a bean bag if you aren't running a tab at a bar. The vibe is relaxed and everyone is smiling. You can easily find awesome shells and there are no vendors walking up to you selling stuff. I can't wait to go back!

The restaurant venue at the top is clean and neat, however the lower waterfront venue is in need of updating and some maintenance. The menu was large with lots of choice but it also needs modernising. The seafood looked delicious, and smelt amazing but the other meals were tiny and bland. The salad which accompanied my tiny (i have small hands and it was the length and not quite the width of mine) schnitzel parmy consisted of only leafy lettuce and balsamic dressing with a side of overcooked French fries, no sauce either. There was a salad bar available to the seafood grill but we were unsure if this was included in our selection as the waitstaff didn't mention, so we don't feel comfortable self serving. I feel this place would have been the bees knees about 10 years ago. The staff were very nice I commend them but they need to be more thorough when it comes to greeting and seating. I won't be back here, especially with the modern restaurant selection available in Canggu, but if you're 40+ you will probably love this place.

Very good atmosphere. Food around the beach is good and moderately priced. Sand is usually wet but chaiselongs are available.
It's a surfing location so waves are big, currents strong and obviously many surfboards around. If swimming skills below average, it can be dangerous.

Food was undercooked. Sent it back to get it grilled better, got in back arteer 10 more minutes, and it was colder than when i sent it back. The worst place yet for us. Go here for drinks only is my suggestion.

If you are into the surf I am sure it is a great place to hang out, its hot and has no shade. I prefer places where tourists/surfers are in the minority, if I really want some tourist beach time I go to tree lined Sanur.

Awesome beach! Bit confusing on this review - I'm assuming it's referencing the restaurant at the start of the beach. Offers a great selection of fish that you then get to add a little buffet of salad, rice, etc. which is delicious! The fish is fresh and fantastic - can't go wrong here! The view is wonderful and listening to the sea right next to you is quite soothing.

Inexpensive for what you get! Definitely "beach-style" restaurant, picnic tables, animals around you, etc. - but great vibes!

Well, well Why am I giving two stars? Everything depends to what you compare things. Me, as a Brazilian, this beach is pretty common and much below to what I was expecting. A lot of waves for surfers, bars and "warungs" around However, this beach is dirty, the sand is black, and there's nothing special. I have to tell that, yes, it's a calm and quiet place. My suggestion: if you are not a surfer, don't go there. Simple like that. ;-)

We spent a comfortable 3 hours at Echo Beach Club. Nice view over the ocean, the food and drinks were nice. Be careful though as the umbrellas aren't stopping the UV rays. We did get a bit burned.
But it is an awesome location to relax.

Very good beach with stunning sunset view. Free to enter, IDR 2K for motorbike parking. Perfect for surfing and swimming, but be careful of the strong tide.

    Pros:
+ The sunset view is one of the best
    + Good for surfing

    Cons:
    - The main road here always jammed on afternoon to evening

A must visit destination. Sea views from most establishments with much to choose from. All day and night till late. Food & drinks for everyone. Popular with surfers but if swimming beware of strong currents and powerful waves. Try a little bar on the beach by crossing the flat rocks to the main beach. Very reasonable pricing. Laid back as one would expect.

Lovely place for seafood, BBQ. Outdoor seating is a way to go. Sunset is best time. Service may be slow from time to time. Food is good but not special. More economic options with same quality are available literally in the next restaurant. However, the seating is covered here and the restaurant considered to be the premiere one.

One of the most stunning views you can get and as mentioned before, a lot of locals use the beach so this is a great spot for people watching. We were here in low season so there were few people around which is good with a baby.

Definitely recommend going for the BBQ: you just go up to the outdoor kitchen and choose from a big selection of individually packaged meats, fish and vegetables, then help yourself to salad while they do the cooking.
