Tldr:
- Somehow weird/tense atmosphere. Whole team (apparently all new) does not seem to want to be there.
- No real suggestions or planning for our dives
- Inexperienced young guide
- 1 out of 3 dives went pretty wrong
+ 2 great nice fun dives with turtles and sharks
+ probably really good and professional (German) for courses (not so much for fun dives)
New german manager. Somehow not too great with people. Spanish instructor that likes to hear himself talk and knows a lot (and all of it better than everyone else for sure ;-)
Itialian instructor - did an owd course seemed pretty good. Young balinese divemaster - very nice girl.
All very organized and professional when it comes to safety procedures. Probably a great place to do a certification.
The website says there is no time limit until your group is getting low on air - that's changed to max 60min now.
Had two very nice dives with the young divemaster.
Last dive was a bit more advanced - did it again with the Balinese girl. Unfortunately she misjudged the current and we never actually made it to the dive site. Gave up fighting the current at some point - we drifted for a while to then turn back to fight the exact same way back again (almost same depth - exactly the same current) until we were low on air and had to surface. So if you see it as a cardio exercise it's okay - for a dive less great.response / report this review -

Wow, what happened to that place compared to the other recommendations? That school unfortunately has a very bad vibe! For learning to dive probably still great because the instructors seem very good (if you can stand the bad vibe, that is!), but for fun dives not recommended.
DIVING SCHOOL:
The school has a new manager since 1 month, and it seems as if he and the other foreign diving instructors completely destroyed the general vibe in the diving school. From the very beginning, the instructors were in a very bad mood, presumably because there are no customers and they are all on the jump for their next job
Anyways, we saw one student and he had a good course, they are very exact in teaching so you can be sure to get the basics.
OUR SITUATION:
Our group asked for an experienced dive master to show us diverse dive sites during our limited dive time. Day 1 was ok. The next day we wanted to do an advanced dive which includes a drop in the blue along a boie. They sent us with the most inexperienced dive master, who had before mentioned concerns not to find the dive site. (Fun fact: no other customer was present that day, so all the experienced instructors would have been free for doing the dive with us ) Due to the concerns the DM planned the dive with a 15 minutes swim against strong current at 22 m depth. Of course we were not able to reach the dive site, but went with the current for a couple of hundred meters. There, the DM decided to switch and swim back against the current for 20 minutes. After 40 minutes of swimming against the current - surprise surprise - we ran out of air and had to surface.
We are all physically fit (regularly mountaineering and running), but it was not manageable to do the dive the way it was planned.
Any experienced diver would have understood that the starting place was chosen completely wrong and switched sites when still being on the boat. Unfortunately this did not happen, and we ended up having a horrible dive.

We are very glad nothing bad happened but really recommend you to check out the place, the employees and not let yourself be fooled into a really bad dive experience. Probably, you’re able to find other good dives schools around Gili Meno or Gili T.response / report this review -

The best dive company on the Gilis! If you're planning a diving holiday in Lombok, Divine Divers is very much the company to go with. The instructors are professional, patient, and great at explaining things (which is very important when you're a beginner!). They also know which dive sites will "work" in different conditions. The location itself is amazing - Gili Meno is the quietest of the three Gilis, but has enough going on to keep you entertained.

We had an excellent diving experience with Marc. I was doing my introduction and my boyfriend was joining me for as a fun dive (already has PADI 1) . Marc took his time to explain everything in details, he was funny, patient and very professional. We trained in the swimming pool first and then went to the sea. We had the chance to see clownfishes, turtles, parrot fishes and many more! Had the best experience for an introduction, i highly recommend this place ! Thank you guys!

The guys here are just easy going, relaxed and friendly.I did a refresher here and dived couple of times after that with them and it was always good fun.I can highly recommend this place.All the dive sites I visited were interresting - Halik, Hans,Turtle city, Shallow Turbo, Bountysometimes they also make a night diveenjoy!

Top notch dive centre with great instructors and very positive energy.
The instructors are genuinely interested in the aquatic life and knowledgeable as to where to find great variety of fish and other creatures. Today we even found a blue ringed octopus 😁👍response / report this review -
