  Closest accommodation to The Reef, Batukaras, for surfers and anyone else wanting to enjoy the beach without crowds. A kind English-speaking Host will look after you and answer any questions you may have about the area.

  Bamboo construction built around the trees gives it a really nice jungle surf vibe. There are bugs and ants so if those bother you it's probably not for you. That said everything is super clean, and the half outdoor showers are wonderful(great hot water!). The best part of the hostel is the owner though. Always happy to introduce you around town, organize tours, surf lessons, transport, whatever. Coffee, tempeh, maybe some other goodies cooked up throughout the day as well as a basic breakfast(toast with jams). Planned on staying a day or two, ended up staying a week.
