Don't go! It's a rip-off and definitely not worth the hustle or the money you pay. You have to pay an entrance fee which is okay, but no one explains for what we are actually paying. We realized that you are (hopefully) supporting the local community (who knows what the money is really used for) but the locals don't bother to communicate that. We found out after reading other reviews. We felt uncomfortable when we came to the rundown "office". The people there were not friendly at all, and we were just asked 140,000 for 2 people. We had no idea for what. No one told us that you get a "guide" to take you to the waterfall. The guide seemed not very interested in us or in what he was showing us. He didn't tell us anything about the village, local community, waterfall, forrest, etc. And we couldn't even ask as he was running away from us and always walking 50 meters ahead. The waterfall is nice but far from special and I was shocked to see that there was plenty of trash.

Beautiful magical secluded waterfall with perfect swimming! Loved it. Hike is a little steep and road is a little scary but SO worth it. Lovely locals selling delicious fruit and drinks at the waterfall. Well worth entrance fee and nominal fee for a very helpful guide. Great to see such a beautiful natural spot and be able to give back to the local community at the same time. The community funded with the entrance fee is obviously taking great care of the waterfall and the path and keeping it all clean.

Great Waterfall in a cave an worth seeing! But the entry fee is a rip off, it's 20K officially but the people there won't let you to the waterfall if you don't pay much more. Also the office is not just unfriendly but rude. Don't support this scam.

Great waterfall . You can jump it s deep enought. Ask your guide to bring you to the top of the waterfall !!

Seems very much like a scam. Guide was extremely shady and kept asking for is to stay over at his friend's house. Waterfall is unimpressive. Water was muddy, didn't feel safe to jump. Guide refused to jump and said he was too cold to swim. The drive here was amazing though!

We didn't like the fact that they tried to oblige us to pay 100.000 IDR extra for a guide. We were OK paying the entry fee which is 20k pp, but they seemed to be just evaluating how much you are willing to pay, and they make up a different price for every tourist.

We need to do some trekking to reach the waterfall, i think it is normal, and because they want it to look natural, of course u will find slippery area and mud. But, it is recommended only in hot season because it will affect the water and the flow. I came at the wrong time, but i believe it will be very stunning when we come in april-august. There are 2 spots to look at this waterfall, from the cliff and from the lower part, both of them have their own scenic few, try them both, but they are far one another.
